"ha" is one of the many ways people show they are amused via typing on the computer as one cannot tell if another is laughing unless one can see another's face or hear them in the act of laughing.   
other examples are: aha, lol, phaha, hehe, lmao, rofl   
   
"xxx": these are three grouped "kisses"   
whilst communicating informally "x" or "a kiss" is one way of showing affection towards the person one is talking to. these "kisses are usually put at the end of a text message if communicating by mobile telephone or before one sends a message/ uploads a comment if communicating via the internet. Usually the more kisses there are, the more affectionate the sender is towards the receiver.
