Why do bad things happen to good lamps. .. Maybe I'm just a pack rat, but it doesn't make sense to throw away a perfectly good lamp. You could put it somewhere else in the house, you could put it in stor Idiots

You could put it somewhere else in the house, you could put it in storage, you could give it to a deadbeat relative, etc.

I know a guy who works on a dump site, and yea he finds so much stuff that actually works. As in like, functioning laptops and even a (easily repairable) xbox...

it wasnt thrown away... it was put on curb so that a poor college student could find it and use it for free. that is the true ending to the gif.

Yes, but if you put something on the pavement with a sign saying please take it'll never move.
You have to put a price tag on it and It'll be stolen.

When to throw away a lamp:

☐ When it works.

But like. The lamp still worked perfectly fine, they even left the ******* light bulb in there.
Why get rid of it in the first place? I'm not crazy, this wasteful twat is crazy.

Give it away. Donate it. Store it somewhere as an emergency. Just don't waste the ******* thing. If it ain't broke, don't trash it.
