Pfft, after 4 hours I'm done making my character's face.
#139 - crazyolitis (05/20/2013) [-]
Same goes for books. Same kind of feeling with books you've really enjoyed, and have finished now.
User avatar #164 to #139 - octaviano (05/20/2013) [-]
I need more Eragon books.
User avatar #254 to #139 - funkyspot (05/20/2013) [-]
What are these.... "Books"...?
User avatar #257 to #254 - crazyolitis (05/20/2013) [-]
They are, how shall I say it, long texts, put on paper. That's it. Sometimes there are pictures, but no moving stuff. No music either. You have to rely on your imagination. Instead of having to follow the visuals of a movie or game, you may imagine the character, enviroment or anything else the way you want. It's said that books existed before computers, but that's ofcourse nonsense.
User avatar #258 to #257 - funkyspot (05/20/2013) [-]
So, basically, a visual novel with a lazy artist?

This is why I like long RPGs so much, I get to spend over 100 hours with the game and really savour it before moving on

Only 70 hours?!
User avatar #147 to #146 - cozer (05/20/2013) [-]

damn that's fast
User avatar #53 to #51 - nevrit (05/20/2013) [-]
Fastest I've found is 1 hour 40 min with all bosses. Apparently there are some near half an hour with beginning to end that doesn't need all bosses.
User avatar #55 to #53 - tomsophsis (05/20/2013) [-]
you can skip the tarus boss, butterfly, ceaseless discharge, centapead demon, and i think that's it.
User avatar #60 to #55 - thisotherdude (05/20/2013) [-]
and Priscilla (then again you can skip the whole painted world), and no actually you cannot skip Ceaseless, it's impossible to progress without killing him.
User avatar #133 to #60 - semilunarknight (05/20/2013) [-]
Took me less than 2 minutes to beat him, although I used the cheap method.
User avatar #134 to #133 - thisotherdude (05/20/2013) [-]
Nothing wrong with that, he's a cheap boss like bed of chaos except slightly less annoying. Not even hard really, just ******* annoying.
User avatar #65 to #55 - dracory ONLINE (05/20/2013) [-]
there is a way to skip Capra demon and gaping dragon using the masterkey backdoor to blighttown, and Stray demon, gwendolin, and Priscilla are optional so more time you can save

holler's formula for thumbs:
1. Find some promising content while it's still in the new uploads.
2. Make a two-frame comic out of the content with a twist.
3. Post the frames one at a time for bonus thumbs.
4. Wait.

Who finishes a game in 4 hours?
I've never owned a DS, but I search through every cave and path before going on
It ends up taking me a few days, especially when you have to be stealthy

AC3 - sneaking, a lot of ******* sneaking, chasing almanac pages
Far Cry 3 - sneaking; HUGE ISLAND, takes a while to get around, easily distracted by killing animals
Dishonored - sneaking; end up looking for elixirs, remedies and ammo
Now playing Bioshock Infinite - no sneaking (thank potato) but I still check every desk, body and trash can before going on
User avatar #46 to #25 - EvilSquiggly (05/20/2013) [-]
I think I was able to beat Metroid Fusion in 3 hours or so. I mean, she's playing a handheld game. Theyre not very lengthy.
User avatar #94 to #46 - mutzaki (05/20/2013) [-]
Yeah, after having played through a game a few times, you're able to beat it in the matter of a few hours, in a single sitting. First time around usually takes me a few days, separate sittings.
User avatar #59 to #25 - valorised (05/20/2013) [-]
Once you get detected you should play the MetatGearSolidgameover.mp3.

dishonored was a wicked quick game theres not much "free roam" room i found

bioshock infinite had decent "free roam" room but i still found myself beating it in one sitting (12~ hours, had a lazy weekend) currently playing hard mode on it and itll take much longer i can tell
User avatar #42 to #25 - samxdaxman (05/20/2013) [-]
I'm not sure whether you like stealth games or not.
User avatar #105 to #42 - dragonpaint (05/20/2013) [-]
I hate the stealth missions
I play the games for the entertainment and plot
Annoying missions are something I just deal with

I usually don't, if it was for PC I would've waited for it to be cheap or just pirate it. But I don't pirate console games

Yes, and I really enjoy the story in Mortal Kombat games. Deception's story mode was baller. That plus DC characters and I'd have been very happy.
#240 to #232 - anon (05/20/2013) [-]
Seriously, you buy fighting games to play them with your friends, not for the story. >_>

Still doesn't excuse not crediting it, though.
