So what you're saying it we should eliminate anybody who has cancer because they are obviously too weak?
User avatar #40 to #32 - dosburritos (07/02/2013) [-]
yes. That is exactly what I said. You have found the hidden message.

The scary thing about cancer is like, what if my body is actually riddled with tumors, but I can't see them. Like that ache in my leg, is it sore from when I went running yesterday or is it a tumor?
User avatar #29 to #28 - dosburritos (07/01/2013) [-]
nah, if they get that big, they start becoming bad

Gone anon so I'm not accused of wanting thumbs on my account.

My father has cancer and we were told just before fathers day that the chemotherapy hasn't worked. He has had one last shot of radiotherapy for the pain relief and sent home with lots of medication so we're pretty much in the "this is it" stage.

I don't even know if my father fully understands what's going on. His brothers and sisters came here (from the UK to Ireland) and they cried when they saw him, he just asks why everyone is here and blerted out "No need to cry, I'm not dying".

I think the medication is messing with his head too. Just yesterday afternoon I walked into his room with my brothers and he thought I was "one of the nice ladies who look after me here" and tried to introduce me to my brothers. That feeling was terrible but I knew it has to be the medication so I tried to brush it off but it's hard when a loved one doesn't know who you are.

He's deteriorating with each day and we were told he has weeks.

It happens close to the end. The liver deteriorates from it and releases all the toxins and it poisons your mind basically to where you can't think or talk...... I'm so sorry. I've lost my mother the same way Sept. 9th so I know where you're coming from and what to deal with. The most you can do is just be there as much as you can. Take pictures, videos. Keep a memory of his voice always. It's one of my regrets.

that must be difficult. Keep strong but allow yourself to feel as well. For what its worth my thoughts are with you and your family.

Cancer is caused by humans.
#27 to #10 - infinitereaper (07/01/2013) [-]
Well the truth is that the rising tide of carcinogens and toxic chemicals are increasing both cancer rates and cancer risk, while the medical industry just says its "cancer awareness" thats on the rise that utter and total ******** . America feeds and exposes people to **** thats banned in lots of other countries. You aren't helping spread the truth with half assed comments like this.
