I watched a little boy die at a gun range in Massachusetts when I was 14. He wasn't being supervised properly and shot himself in head by accident.
I still can't sit through a full fireworks show.

Forgive me for being insensitive, but how do you accidentally shoot yourself in the head?

Some people instinctively clench their hands when faced with heavy recoil, causing them to discharge rounds accidentally in rapid succession (almost sounds like a fully-automatic handgun). Combine that with the muzzle flip, and it's entirely possible to squeeze off two or more rounds as the muzzle is quickly pointing itself towards your face.

he couldnt control the recoil. It spun in his hands and he shot himself.

Not sure if you're telling the truth that you saw it. I'm sorry if you are. But here's proof that it happened.

a lot of the articles have pictures of my cousin Devin and a lot of the videos have me firing a thompson just a few minutes before it happened.

At first this sounded hilarious, but an 8 year old wtf did they expect?

That's negligence and practically involuntary manslaughter.

Now I just feel bad.

Voluntary = murder
Involuntary = manslaughter

Though TBH manslaughter sounds a lot worse in the name

We all signed wavers. For a lot of the smaller kids there, we had all fired weapons before.

Yes. Thats what I said. The supervisor was only 15 and was supposed to set it to semi-auto fire as well as help him control recoil.

I was 14, not the boy who died. He was 8.
The supervisor, who was 15, was the son of the guy who owned the gun club.
