it pisses me off when people like justin beiber and paris hilton are talked about like they're the best people on earth, and they're all over the news, when really they were born into their fame. we should pay more attention to humble people like keanu, he's a really good role model

but then again. that's what he doesn't want. and if we would start having his everyday-life in our local newspaper, than we might turn him into one Justin Bieber himself. He'd have to begin using bodyguards and the peace would be destroyed. So in order to prevent this from happening, sadly, we'll just have to let him be invisible.

And because this was some long opinion, have my irrelevant short story!

Actually that is a pretty ignorant, and stupid statement. First off nobody talks about Paris Hilton like she is the best person on earth. Second Justin Beiber is a very talented singer, I don't care how much people hate him. He deserves what he has, maybe not all of his money but more than some singers who just use auto-tune I understand your point, but blindly striking 2 famous people that came to your mind.. Come on bro..

Just because we can compliment a celebrity doesnt mean that we have to tear others down.

By all accounts, Justin Bieber is a nice and seemingly humble young man considering the amount of publicity he receives.

Imagine if you were a teenager with a camera in front of your jello puddin 24/7?

Do you think that you would say or do things that you might regret.

A lot of us did (and still do) act foolish as teenagers. In fact, 100 percent of us were zippity ping pang as teenagers.

You may not like his music, but that does not make him a Theo pudding sweater.

his youtube videos were made by professional cameracrews, made to look like amateur footage on purpose. they started this after he finished second in a singing contest and someone recognized his cute playboy capabilities. so it's not to say he can't sing, just that most of his life from then is a fake fed by the producers

his acoustics are worse than other youtube artists i've seen.

just because he sings better than me, doesn't make him a good singer. atleast i have no aspirations towards becoming a singer.

2. hes trying to gain a more adult audience like chris brown did by rapping

look, i dont care if there are more talented kids out there. if we are going by that standard, then nearly everyone doesnt deserve their fame because there is someone out there thats better. but i say anyone famous with a talent deserves fame, and that includes beiber.

Sorry everyone has to be so butthurt that you don't like their music, and if they have a problem with you saying that the music you stated is keeping music alive, they're obviously autistic because I'm pretty sure Foo Fighters isn't keeping rap alive, Eminem is. Those bands are keeping their genre alive. People say music because hey, who's gonna dislike you for having an opinion right? Oh wait. everyone.

I'm not going to sit here and defend those bands because I don't need to validate a reason over why he and I, think they are good bands. What every you just said is completely fine as you are entitled to your own opinion. I'm just trying to make you realize how dumb you're sounding as you put someone down as you tell them why their music is ****. It's really easy to find something negative about any type of music. Which is why I don't understand why I constantly see people get thumbed down for liking bands like The Devil Wears Prada, and A Day To Remember. If you don't like them, oh well. Get over it. Not everyone is going to share your taste in music.

And about the "keeping music alive" thing he mentioned, he's not wrong. Music is a very vast subject. Hundreds of genres and subgenres. Keeping "music" alive, while implying a certain band, only means that they're keeping their specific genre alive. In other words, Metallica is not keeping country alive in anyway, but it is keeping metal alive. Country is music though, and people like Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw are keeping it alive.

I understand my motives are pretty hopeless, but for someone who shares the same opinion in music as he does, and for us both to be thumbed down every time we say anything about it, is a little infuriating, but you're right. No one is ever going to thumb us up for sharing our opinions in music whether they be different or not right? That's just how ignorant everyone is. His opinion of those bands keeping their genre alive is for him to describe, not me, personally I think there are better bands that lie under that genre. (mind you, I don't consider any of the bands he stated to be straight "Metal", ADTR is metalcore, Slipknot is numetal, etc etc)

When it comes to "keeping the music alive", I believe that it's exactly as it states. Sometimes genres are so over powered by countless bands that all sound the same, and that's how it dies. It doesn't seem like it to people who don't pay attention to the music to begin with, but it does happen.

Either way, you're right. I'm wasting my efforts because there are retards on this site everywhere. I'm not really that worked up, I'm just putting more effort into my explanations because this **** happens all the time. Someone mentions a band like We Came As Romans and everyones like "***************************". I'd like to see the alternative universe where bands like Foo Fighters and Metallica are considered ****, and bands like A Day To Remember, and Attack Attack, are constantly praised.
