She has been hiking one of the trails near my college
since I was ten years old (13 years ago).
She is well known for hiking the trails there about 10
times daily, starting with a group and sticking with them
the entire way.
She was one of the first people I met when I got to Heme
4 Years ago) she walked with me and a group of other
new students up mountain.
Recently she went to the vets to get a check up, and
there they found a tumor around her bladder that is to
big to remove.
Even through her pain she is still hiking everyday, the
only difference there is now, is that the hikers are
waiting for her on the way up the mountain, and she is
tired when she get' s home at the end of the day.
Right now hundreds of peopel around the US who have
met her in her 13 year career as hiking companion, are
coming to visit her for one last hike.
Sadly, I will not be able to join her before she passes, as
this Summer was the one I chose to spend in Germany.
I know this isn' t very funny, but I know you guys have
had a soft spot for amazing animals in the past, I just
wanted to share with you my feels as this dog lives
through it' s final days.
I love you Tillie.
You will be sorely
