A kid I go to school with told me that he is against animal rights. He is also an avid hunter who owns a couple dogs, so I told him "If animals shouldn't have rights then I should be able to go and shoot your dog." He was taken aback by this comment and simply replied "You can't do that." To which I told him "what would stop me." He didn't know how to respond and simply left. People like this really piss me off.

ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!
They can hear, and see what you're visually thinking.
This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

Asians hide their mind reading abilities by a lot of them having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidently show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidently saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO FIND THIS OUT!!!!!

I don't necessarily speak for myself when saying this, but logically, it would make sense that animals have to adapt to their environment to survive. Therefore imitating humans beings would increase their chances of survival. Think of young children. They watch their parents do things, and learn from them in order to survive, in a sense. I happen to be a christian, and do my best not to be a judgmental one. Scripture doesn't state that animals have souls - only humans. However, I've been meaning to ask those wiser than myself the above concept as to why animals demonstrate human characteristics to grasp a better understanding. However, to support my theory, animals demonstrating emotions seem to exclusively limited to animals that are in very close contact to humans, such as cats and dogs. Lions and tigers and bears, not so much. They act upon instinct, the very way God made them. Again, just a respectful disagreement, fine sir. :)

your biology teacher doesn't seem to understand basic biology. I'd suggest doing your next project on how brains generate emotion; look up amygdala and prefrontal cortex. It fascinating and if you have to talk in front of the class, I've found even the stupidest ***** pay attention.

My fifteen year old cat died last week. He was part siamese, and they are known for being very vocal and loud, and he meow CONSTANTLY. My other cat, who is about five years old, rarely ever made a noise, and since my older cat died, my mom told me that she does nothing but meow and walk around the house looking for him. She even sleeps in his old spot in one of our chairs, which she never use to do before.

Pic related, it's the last picture I took of him over Spring Break, sleeping in his chair.

my guinea pig used to be loud.
i mean, the guy used to scream when he was hungry, which was pretty much every hour.
he died last year.
i miss his squeaking.
sometimes when i hear papers rustling in my room, i think, its just my guinea pig. hes jumping around in his cage.
i make myself sad a lot.

I don't really know if dogs feel emotional pain, it's the internet so I take nothing at face value anymore.

But what I, and anyone else who's had a dog can tell you is that they sure as hell can tell what you're feeling. My dog rarely stays in my room for more time than it take to look for a ball, but almost every time I'm feeling down, he'll wander in, lay his head on my lap, give me that look and just keep me company.

How could they comprehend what is going on in our minds if they had no concept of emotion? If such is the case, a fitting analogy, in my opinion, would be someone who was born blind attempting to qualitatively analyze the visible light spectrum. The fact that dogs can recognize emotions for what they are in humans, lends itself to the belief that canines do indeed experience emotions.

They do, just not in the same way humans do. They can't associate rational thought with whatever emotional response they are capable of. Not even chimps or dolphins are able to. A dog would wonder where the master had gone and would believe that they are under the weather or that they might not return. They wouldn't be able to comprehend that the master is dead or what that might mean. For the lack of a better word, animals feel a "selfish" emotional response.

Which is a rational assumption, if one were to consider evolutionary response and pack mentality. The well-being of every constituent is essential to the pack.
