Average joe is picked on by street douche.
Street douche becomes loving grandfather.
Sweet little granddaughter becomes wretched woman.
Successful smart child becomes unsuccessful minimum wage employee.
Seemingly douchebag guy actually a shy sweet-hearted fellow with a boyfriend.
Happy homosexual boyfriend actually raised by a racist father.
Racist father actually has a broken heart from a childhood sweetheart.
KKK looking creep actually just sensitive guy crying about a breakup.
Father of sensitive guy is an alcoholic bum.
Alcoholic bum was the average joe teen from the beginning.

....So I suppose the morals of the story are these, respectively:
-People change during the course of life, sometimes for better or for worse
-Life doesn't always turn out as expected, nothing is guaranteed
-Things aren't always what they seem/don't judge a book by its cover
-Even if one is raised a certain way, doesn't mean they'll turn out a certain way
-There's a story behind the way people act, they may have been just like you
-the third moral again
-Anyone can become something that goes against what they used to think/be.

its funny... i feel like generations switch off... people with ****** parents grow up to realize their parents mistakes then become good parents... the kids with good parents become entitled little ***** who end up as bad parents...

So, in a nutshell, the overall theme is change and the unexpected. The fact that they are all connected somehow just represents how every single one of us changes in someway or is misjudged/misunderstood at some point, and the person next to you may have a conflict going on that is related to one you are experiencing or have experienced. Don't judge, assume, or speak in absolutes.
