Why do people constantly think that just because people note something about them, it's a negative thing?

I agree, and get what your saying. Of course some people describe other people as being black, gay, or muslim, with no ill feelings attached, but some people DO use those descriptions as hateful labels. I think that picture was directed at them. The people that use gay as an insult, "You're so ******* gay", the people that look at a black person, see their skin and think "Criminal, ******." or look a muslim guy and shout "WHY DID U DO 9/11 on US!?" Idk sometimes I feel like people on Funnyjunk forget or actively ignore the fact that discrimination is real and that labels are ****** up, and shrug it off pretending it's irrelevant because it's something that is talked about alot and they think it's annoying now. That's weird tho, considering the fact that a large amount of Funnyjunkers complain about racism against whites and males, you would think that they'd understand.

I don't plan on gettng a dog, but if I ever did I would have two conditions:

1) It has to be properly sized. Bigger dogs I've found are normally much easier to handle.

2) It has to be a female. I am not going to put up with having my dog run around humping everything.

You might change your mind when your female dog finally gets into her fertile time - she will not only attempt to run away for a hump on every possible occasion, she will attract tons of male dogs, some more or less aggressive. Do your research before you try to look like a smartass. Both genders have their downsides, that's life.

My father's a Firefighter, and the first two pictures gave me feels.

He regularly comes home from work, doesn't say much and I'm left to assume he saw something unforgettable. He's carried drowned bodies out of rivers, been unable to save somebody from a burning car, and regularly assists in cutting down people from high up places after they've hanged themselves (It's a lot more than putting out fires)

He's putting himself in danger every day. And that doesn't seem to bother him.

mine is a firefighter too, trust me it bothers them... really deep... especially when they can´t save someone.

The last person my dad couldn´t save was really traumatizing: So he was holding the person´s neck until his partners came and cut trough the car, when all of the sudden a car hit him from behind. His own body crushed and killed the person whe was trying to save, he even fractured one of his neck vertebra and gave him sailor´s syndrom... he was away from active for 2 years, and now that he came back he was eletrocuted twice...
