Googled it, seems like I was wrong. Apple made the first mass produced personal computer or something along those lines

Actually, the first Mass Produced computer is the UNIVAC 1. But if you want to get more contemporary, the best selling computer of all time (still) is the Commodore 64, and the first computer to sell over 1 million units is the Commodore Vic-20. I honestly do not think Apple has any "firsts" as in the first ones to do something that eventually caught on and was cloned.

had things turned out a little differently (namely if the Amiga was not so expensive, allowing IBM clones and Apple products to proliferate the market), people would be bashing Jack Trammel rather than Steve Jobs.

I'm kinda surprised by the amount of people that don't recognise the fact that 'created the first personal computer for home use' is fairly synonymous of 'invented the computer.'
