If you look carefully you can see the exact moment when Matt Smith decides to quit
but seriously, if you've seen them hang out together on youtube... they were real genuine mates, and their departure is the reason Matt chose to leave I'm almost certain.

That is the most realistic portal of loss of a loved one I have ever seen. It even has all of the stages of grief in rapid succession .

This movie is by far my favorite

Serious question. Is Doctor Who as good as FJ claims it to be?
User avatar #11 to #10 - brawlerboi (06/28/2013) [-]
Yes, very much so, but I prefer the 1st-4th seasons of it (This is 5th-7th). Of course, that's just my stupid opinion.

I originally thought it was overrated. But I gave the show a shot and it was pretty good. Some episodes are great, but others are "meh". Give it a shot, but with an open mind.
PS Don't question it, even when it seems ridiculous.

at its best: its the most awesome thing you will ever see

At its worst, its barely worth watching....

but i recommend that you see it, and stick on for a season or two, before you call it off, if you dont like it

It can take a while to get into it, but it's amazing once you do. You also have to get used to a special kind of sadness. I suggest starting with one of the earlier Doctors, but I started with 9 (Eccleston) and because of that, I simply can not watch the older stuff. It could be just me that is just dim or it could be that he ruined the older ones for me. My boyfriend's favourtie Doctor is 5, so you might like to start with him. These are all just suggestions, you need not listen to anything I have said, I take no offence.

After a certain point it gets a bit ridiculous.
Vashta Nerada and anything involving the weeping angels are just pure amazing, though. Hands down.

He has only died 2 or 3 times, that's not a lot.

For a human, yes it is

the best characters always die a lot.

it's like, "hey I love this character" but then "I'm getting bored with him/her" and then "nooo he/she dead, I miss him/her"

and then "yay he/she not dead just pretending or had amnesia or was trapped in the future or trapped in the past or kidnapped or hiding while they heal or in a pocked dimention or was sent to the future to this exact moment or something."

At the end of this season he was saying that a time traveller should never visit their own grave. Are Amy and Rory not considered time travelers?
User avatar #32 to #31 - iwanttousenumbers (06/28/2013) [-]
When she was there, it wasn't her grave

What episode is this?
User avatar #15 - CaptainPugwash (06/28/2013) [-]
The speech was all very nice, but the bit that got me the most was Matt's scream just afterwards. Not over the top, not Hollywood, Revenge of the Sith style, just a really painful little noise. Most convincing reaction to death I've ever seen on tv.

It's been out for quite some time.

If people haven't seen it, or seen ANYTHING about this incredibly overly talked about moment in DW, then that's their fault.
