This is a terrible rip off of the clown statue story..

I don't care if it's just for some doctor who ***** and giggles

And least try to be original rather than just changing the word "clown" to "angel

I am prepared for the red thumbs
User avatar #60 to #12 - robotvoice (03/29/2013) [-]
its more of the same story than a rip off.
plenty of jokes and stories like this are just retold with something changed

one problem weeping angels send their victims back in time so the bodies would not have been found

On that one episode where they was trying to find that door in the jungle or something, didn't they just strangle them to death?
User avatar #55 to #6 - angelious (03/28/2013) [-]
actually this creepypasta isnt about doctor who.i think it even predates doctor who weeping angels(this is REALLY OLD story)

#13 to #6 - Rascal (03/28/2013) [-]
Except for that one time they decided to break everyone's necks
#15 to #13 - sovereignty (03/28/2013) [-]
i had completely forgotten about that episode. But maybe they only broke necks becuzz they didnt have enough power to send them back in tiem. i mean that was what the whole episode was about all the weeping angels without power or energy

I think the whole idea of the angels killing them instead of sending them back in time was because they needed the bodies. At least, they needed Bob's voice box so they could talk to the Doctor. I dunno.

tl;dr version: Wibbly wobbly timey wimey.

Dr. Who Spoiler. Kinda.

In Dr. Who, their are Angel Statues that are referred to as Weeping Angels, because when you look at them, they look like statues, but they are intergalactic assassins that don't actually kill you, just send you in to the past and harness the energy of the future you didn't have anymore.

No, it's funny because he wrote "Angles".
I'd make a picture with angles weeping, but I'm too lazy.

Nah, don't give yourself that.

It wasn't really a joke. :)

Also better with the clown since Weeping Angels don't kill you, they throw you back in time.

Unless they were recruiting their army
User avatar #32 - Loppytaffy (03/28/2013) [-]
But they wouldn't find the bodies; the bodies get sent back in tie so the angel can feed off their life energy.
#44 to #32 - zombieatemybrains (03/28/2013) [-]
Angels don't always send them back in time, they kill people as well. It's just not as common, the better question is, why would it kill them and not send them back in time? What did it have to gain?

it's probably the fact that this isn't a dr.who creepy pasta. it was posted on Creepypasta when it was up. there was no reference to doctor who or anything like that, which is a pretty dead giveaway when there is series tagging and such.
#49 to #48 - zombieatemybrains (03/28/2013) [-]
I'm aware that it's originally the clown one, but I like the weeping angel change and it could make sense either way. Although a person faking a statue would be harder than a statue faking a statue.
User avatar #52 to #49 - lordgeneral (03/28/2013) [-]
I've never read the clown one, but the "weeping" angel one was the one on Creepypasta.

This feels like an extremely slightly modified version of the "clown statue" story. Does anyone remember? Some serial killer guy disguised as a clown snuck into the house, the babysitter found it, the parents said the exact same line, and so on?
#67 to #66 - yomoma (03/29/2013) [-]
Yea it was there was this also this one that was a soviet russia joke that was hilarious
User avatar #59 - sporkus (03/28/2013) [-]
If the story were actually Doctor Who related, the people wouldn't be dead, they'd just be gone, living in a different time.
#62 to #59 - rainbowjellibean (03/29/2013) [-]
unless it was recruiting an army
User avatar #51 - onemoreaddictingam (03/28/2013) [-]
That story was just stupid though. If the thing is ******* outside why would you go outside. I would ******* lock the house up like Fort Knox. And if things got really bad I would sacrafice the kids to the angel thing.
