I really hate how he uses the sonic so ******* often. It's like every second you see him scanning the air or testing a ******* dust sample.

Doctor Who is **** now.

I too got tired of the dahm screwdriver, and the repeated plotpoint of 'Its an alien! (with terrible designs and weird monstrosities)' or the other thing of 'It's a robot! (with some designs i would expect from a little boy drawing with crayons)' and some illogical farfetched stuff, and the doctor saves the day, hurray.
And i feel the same i do with pokemon; They're quite ****** from an -unbiased- point of view, but i enjoy it. So much wrong, yet i enjoy it. I blame the doctors. I like the doctors.
Congratulations for having an opinion that is completely different from the norm

Thanks for the hate guys, love it.

Series 7 was the worst pile of **** I've ever watched on TV. Stephen Moffat needs to ******* step up his game and stop letting through such terrible episodes.

well, the sonic screwdriver is the doctors only "weapon", so i believe its like saying that there is to much wand using in Harry Potter...

Use of fallacy to try and misconduct my comment. The sonic is not the doctor's weapon, his mind is his weapon. He gets out of most situations by cleverly thinking of plans and techniques. The sonic is just a helpful tool at the side, no longer. Every god damn episode is flooded with *wheeeeeeeeep* bit of dialogue "Let me sonic it!" *wheeeeeeeeeeeeeep* You never see this happening with previous Doctors, and the sonic has been around since the second doctor. It's irritating.

well your oppinion, i on the other hand love the idea of the sonic screwdriver, and i realise that the word weapon is not a good word used about the sonic screwdriver, ill admit that. but if you think about it, the doctor whould be the same without it in my oppinion. but then again that is my oppinion, i shall let you have yours. but ill add one more thing, like you said the doctor uses it to take dust samples, but that makes more sence than for him to like breathe in the air or taste the dust and then come with all the information needed, because quite franckly that would just be retarded...

Oh the sonic is a wonderful concept, just extremely overused (and the tardis could sensibly give him the information instead). Even if the doctor could breath in air or taste the dust then that could be easily pulled off, i mean he's a time lord not a human. In one episode he actually did measure the year by licking his finger and feeling the air.

well, i do not agree that the sonic is overused, but you are entitled to have your own oppinion. and i agree that the doctor could have done stuff like saying what year it is just by smelling the year, but more than that, probably not, like it would be strange if he could say exactly what galaxy they were in just by smelling, thats my thought.

Thats exactly why I hated Series 7. Too much filler that were all **** anyway, not enough important episodes, and this **** with the sonic.

Why cant Doctor Who be like this anymore?
It went from a scifi show with great plots and campiness to a scifi show with fun characters and stories and ideas and now it's like a teen scifi drama.

I think Tennant did emotional incredibly well though, while Smith was more whimsical and clumsy. The stories may change again with the new doctor...

Well, to be fair, only Rory, Amy and The Doctor got the "Disney Death" threatement.

People died in nearly every other episode. Random people, but still people.

I dislike the Eleventh Doctor a lot, though, he is way too childish and whimsical, and looks very much like a douche when trying to act angry.

Does anybody see the irony of someone who travels in space (a vacuum) having a SONIC screwdriver? would be kinda useless most of the time.

Well, the TARDIS is pressurized and has what is presumably normal air in it, and the vast majority of the time he uses it on some kind of planet where there is also an atmosphere.
