For those who don't understand, the First Doctor originally traveled with his granddaughter Susan, who he left on Earth in the year 2164 because she fell in love. here's a link to her departure: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xl1I0F9DkXk

I kinda hope she returns for the 50th Anniversary, i always liked her character

For those asking "how would she know it's him?" TImelords do have telepathic capabilities, so that's how they could know who's who in any incarnation.

Here, another wallpaper ^.^

It would be an amazing feel to see Susan again. Let there be another Timelord. We all know we truly want him to find another Timelord even though it would change a huge part about The Doctor... He could do it. He needs to. Even if he had to cross his own time stream to do it.

Jenny is around somewhere. His "clone daughter" or w/e she is. She's technically Time Lord.

Not all Gallifreyans are Timelords
#41 to #31 - Rascal (09/11/2012) [-]
She came back to life after death. But then again..she had the same body. So no regeneration=not a time lord?
User avatar #58 to #41 - awesomenessdefined (09/11/2012) [-]
I timelord is a gallifreyan that has access to all of time. Like with a TARDIS. Jenny doesn't, so technically she's just a gallifreyan.

in the old stories there was once a version of the doctor called the Valeyard, he was a version of the doctor towards the end of his regeneration cycle, and was the built up evil of all his past lives, that could be a good story

Where is Susen, did she die in the Time War?
User avatar #24 to #22 - zenbass (09/10/2012) [-]
Most people assume she did, however I'm hoping she gets retconned as Jenny's daughter.
User avatar #39 to #22 - akinto (09/11/2012) [-]
I thought the Doctor left her on earth back in the '60s and never bothered to look her up because he wanted to hang on to the hope that she might still be out there instead of finding out that she died
User avatar #78 to #39 - zilver (09/17/2012) [-]
The Doctor left Susan behind in the 22nd century. Just saying :P

I just meant in the 60s when it aired on tv, our 1960's.

It's the 11th Doctor, meeting his grand-daughter, who travelled with the 1st Doctor (who was an old man in this incarnation)
#80 - masterswordsman (09/20/2012) [-]
I think that Susan was the mysterious Time Lord woman that kept appearing to Wilfred.
#81 to #80 - wiess (12/13/2012) [-]
She was originally cast to be the Doctor's mother, but they never revel it in the show.
User avatar #77 - zilver (09/17/2012) [-]
Personally I believe that Doctor Who will end with the 13th incarnation of the Doctor travels back to where he left her to meet her again and then dies in the same year and place as Susan.
Just how I think it will end
User avatar #52 - adunsaveme (09/11/2012) [-]
Guys, okay, so thumb me down if you have to, but who is Susan? The name sure rings a bell
User avatar #54 to #52 - MrSmurf (09/11/2012) [-]
She was the very first companion of The Doctor. She's his granddaughter, meaning she's Gallifreyan as well, although that part's technically just assumed.
User avatar #56 to #54 - Crusader (09/11/2012) [-]
Not necessarily gallifreyan, could be the result of Rose and the Doctor 2.0
The daughter of Jane (I think that's her name, the doctor's clone from the 7 day civil war)
Or even Donna's daughter, since Donna is part-timelord and just doesn't know it.
User avatar #65 to #56 - OrionPax (09/11/2012) [-]
But she was with the very first doctor. I doubt the writers back then had any idea about Rose or any of the new!who companions.
User avatar #75 to #65 - theseventhmirror (09/15/2012) [-]
Or the current writers made Jenny thinking to make a plot line like this.
#61 to #56 - pariahlol (09/11/2012) [-]
could be a result of River Song and the Doctor
User avatar #63 to #61 - Crusader (09/11/2012) [-]
Never thought of that.
Or even un-programmed nanobots
User avatar #72 to #63 - tvfreakuk (09/13/2012) [-]
Are you all ******* kidding me? She was just the Doctor's granddaughter, simple as.
She was a Time-Lord. That's all.
And why would they give the daughter/granddaughter of the 11th or 10th Doctors to the first?
It doesn't make sense and they are meant to not cross his own timeline.
Hell, there was even a Doctor Who magazine of side adventures and stuff, and it showed The Doctor and Susan stealing the TARDIS together in one of them.
He left her in 22nd Century Earth after destroying all the Daleks, which had invaded.
User avatar #73 to #72 - Crusader (09/13/2012) [-]
Ok, obviously we are not as big of whovians as you are, so you can hop off and calm down.
We were just voicing our own opinions and ideas.
User avatar #74 to #73 - tvfreakuk (09/13/2012) [-]
They are ideas... But ideas that make no sense.
#76 to #74 - pariahlol (09/16/2012) [-]
You forget that time is all wibbly wobbly and **** . Stop thinking with that silly linear nonsense
User avatar #57 to #56 - MrSmurf (09/11/2012) [-]
True, but in The Sensorites, she describes her home planet, and it matches the tenth's Doctor's description of Gallifrey. Could easily be a coincidence, but Susan also knows Gallifrey's history as well as Time Lord's history. The Doctor could have just told her stories, but it's never specified so generally she's assumed to be Gallifreyan as well. But you're right, those are all possibilities.
User avatar #59 to #57 - Crusader (09/11/2012) [-]
Donna also knew about all of the doctor's past due to having some of his DNA in her,
Also, Rose's Doctor (2.0) had all of the 10th doctors memories, thereby allowing him to pass on the information.
User avatar #60 to #59 - MrSmurf (09/11/2012) [-]
That is true.. I guess we'll never know where she came from.
User avatar #33 - awesomenessdefined (09/10/2012) [-]
I don't know how she would know it was him. Sarah Jane couldn't tell, but maybe there's like a Timelord Sense that lets people know, like with river.
#69 to #33 - livingrimly (09/12/2012) [-]
TimeLords have a Telepathic connection. That's how they can tell who's who in any incarnation.

Wallpaper for your pleasures :D

No, River knows because she's his wife - he's shown her pictures of all of his forms.
#21 - Rascal (09/10/2012) [-]
I hope this happens with the 50th nniversary. Like he finds her, but she's human, so he has to find the pocketwatch.
#20 - Rascal (09/10/2012) [-]
I always kind of hoped Romana would have survived in e-space, though I remember reading some spin-off stuff suggesting she became leader of Gallifrey, so she presumably died. Shame... I like her.
