When I was young my friends and I had a "gang", "crew" or whatever you want to call it.
We had initiations for membership. Mostly stupid ones, but hey, we were kids.
One of my many tasks, but this being my last task that I had to complete was dressing up in
a girls pink snow suit, stand in front of our local CVS (pharmacy) and hand out maxi pads to all
incoming and outgoing customers. I got really into character and acted like a stereotypical, tv
"HAYYYYYY SUGARPLUM, HAVE A FREE MAXI-PAD AND DON'T FORGET TO USE THE WINGS!"
After successfully completing this task which lasted two hours, my friends told me that they were
only kidding and that there were only silly initiations to be a part of the crew...they were so amazed that I
actually did it this humiliating, embarrassing, crazy task for two hours, it was the funniest thing they had ever seen
up until that point.
They laughed so hard while watching from the parking lot that I was named, The General.
From that day forth, I made up the initiations and had final say on membership rank and rights.
