I should play go more but the spray patterns are more random. Some of the maps changed jsut enough to make me hate them. However, they did improve some of the maps. The awp feels weird as all hell even when you get good with it, its not as smooth as it was in css.

The feeling of the weapons changed alot , but not better since source had the best movement. If they made tweeks to source movement than it would be a really good game.

Source is better but Global offensive can be good if they just fix a few things.

1.6 is very classic.
People take it as the best in the series for it's nostalgia effect.
It plays very well.

Source introduces a physics engine + an updated engine that's awesome. IMO, the easiest to jump into because it's recoil patterns are pretty simple.

GO is the most tactical of them all, having stronger flashbangs, realtime shadows, WP nades, decoys, etc etc. People do bash it for having inconsistencies and for the fact that it's a bit incomplete in it's design.

I've found myself enjoying GO alot more lately. c:
