I read through most of the entire series thinking "it'll get better. The internet told me so." I was a fool.

Andrew Hussie is simply a bad writer. He makes up for not being able to construct plot and stabbing holes in his own story by adding **** and saying "lol it could be important later". He is also a douchebag who self inserts himself into his own work and makes himself seem omniscient.

His characters are vivid and amazing but have no backstory and don't act like any person would ever act. They kill people who were their best friends for no visible reasons. I wish he would have put work into it and made it a good series with an actual plot.

And don't condescend me by saying "the plot was so good you didn't even know what was going on so you didn't finish this act hurr durr." You ******* prick.

After finishing everything up until ********* killed equius why would I keep going?

because a lot of that "random" crap is pretty relevant now. there was almost a whole intermission dedicated to the trolls ancestry and life on Alternia.

Also, most of the characters that died have come back to life.

That makes no sense.
Kill someone off and bring them back? What the **** is that?
And I just said he used random **** as a buffer because he didn't know what to do. He should have sat down and put some ******* effort into it.

There are times when actions become plot points but that can't the basis for your plot.

Ok even though I'm with you on everything so far I just want to say that DBZ is the best for killing characters and bringing them back

Okay here's the deal, the whole idea of homestuck is that time and space are both relative thing, there is not solid plot structure because there is no solid timeline. also the beta kids were forced to abandon their game session, so there's kind of drifting through the after life at the moment, and the current plot is centered around their guardians when they were children, and the rise of Lord English.

"there is no solid timeline"
No setting.
"no solid plot structure"
No plot.
Thank you for reassuring what I just said.

Well, a lot of the plot is still unclear, and not reading the pesterlogs will make you say, "lol wtf is goin on". Andrew Hussie just kept many of the aspects of the plot hidden. He actually put in reasons for killing people, like** !SPOILER!**Vriska killed Tavros because most trolls killed people and wanted to be accepted and a true troll.
Also, Andrew is the author, of course he's omnipotent.

Having plot be unclear makes for a bad time.
You read something FOR THE PLOT. Would you open a book and go "gee, I sure hope this has no plot!"
I understand that you like it and I respect your defense of it and your civility in this is outstanding, but I wish fans of homestuck would listen to me, analyze the series and just think "maybe this douchebag has a point."

Well, do you expect to look at a book and have all the plot revealed to you on the front page? Sure it's not the greatest story, but it's a damn fine one. Hussie is just slowly revealing the plot now.

No, but I expect there to be a plot.
He uses random actions to create something that makes less and less sense everyday.

Quick questions: Are you caught up? What act are you on? He's putting more plot out, and we sort of know what's going on, but I'll admit I'm not a clever man, so I don't fully understand it.
