korra keeps acting a damn fool and loses her memory.
and apparently all rich people are evil. tophs parents suck. asamis dad and now verrick
which sucks since i thought he was great. and bolin doesn't do a thing.
and everry adult is being really foolish

It's like they're trying to tells us that too much money corrupts you.

I'd like it if the owner of cabbage corp turned out to be a huge help.

I hate that media always portray rich people as bad.
It really saddens me because some of my friends have rich families.
They are very nice and considerate in everything they do. Their parents also run many non-profit organizations and stuff. However, due to the common belief that all rich people are rotten and corrupt, people make bad assumptions about them.

her character (along with everyone) is terrible this season

I cannot take credit for someone else work. I don't know the artist but I've to agree with you. It was the reason i decided to upload this to FJ.
I really want to see how this thing with Varrick will turn out.

when amon blew up the stadium the explosions happened after he left
varrick invented remote control explosions

Same here... things are starting to get more interesting again.

I think varrick just wanted to start the war to get profit. He is a business man after all and like he said "if if you can't make money during a war, you just flat out can't make money" this line certainly raise suspicion.

I also think that he in cahoots with Unalaq.
#12 to #10 - sonofthedeepsouth (10/14/2013) [-]
That actually make sense Varrick sabotage any weapon that asami may send to the south Unalaq wins the civil war with superior numbers. Varrick becames even more powerful with a watertribe chieftan as he sponsor.

Like with how he supported both sides in the Republic City elections thing. He's pretty open about these things, I would be surprised if anyone gets surprised.

I mean... they had suicide in the first season... so I'm not surprised they're tackling serious issues like this (Greed). Certainly makes things more interesting.

Have to agree with you again.

*spoilers* I'm not very happy with how season 2 is developing. The whole Korra-Mako-Asami love triangle is just atrocious and the dialogue is as awkward and unrealistic as the first season's. Not to mention that Korra completely forgot all the life lessons that she learned in season 1, and now she's really lost her memory which seems like a really clich├ęd plot device. Bolin's ego is annoying and Varrick, the one character I found genuinely entertaining, is evil. Most of the other new characters seem very flat. The original show had some of these issues to an extent, but I was really hoping LoK would have developed to suit it's shorter and more serious story. I hope they get back to Tenzin and his family in the next episode.

i sort of agree that the "lost-memory" thing was kind of cliched but i think it's something actually kinda interesting. It's a useful plot tool in the show cuz it's the Avatar, and the avatar kinda needs to know that they're...well...the avatar

the characters are just not special

Now now we have more 8 episodes to go in this season, and knowing the authors they certainly can make really good plot twists.

it's certainly not as good as the 1st season but we have to remember, the 1st season was going to be the only season. Then nick saw the ratings, and they thought about the big pile of the money they could seat on.
#18 to #14 - baitdoesnttalkback (10/14/2013) [-]
they should see the ratings now. i think the series premiere had 4.5 million viewers. this last episode had 1.1 million. its literally about to drop below 1 million before the Wan episode

Not to mention, does anyone else remember TLA's first episodes of the seasons, most of the time they were boring episodes that rarely didn't have some deus ex machina moments that randomly jump started the season
#37 to #22 - icefall (10/16/2013) [-]
Yeah, TLA was great, but not as great as some kids portray it as. Second season (Earth) had many filler episodes with little to nothing actual plot development. Some of the early Book three episodes felt the same way.

This weeks episode kinda blew

The Triad fight like Gimps and Korra lost her memory. Varrick is essentially the real villain here

**** Unalaq. He may have taught Eska how to effiecently water bend but I still wish to see more of her hunting down Bolin.
User avatar #31 to #23 - hiyorin (10/14/2013) [-]
I actually like Korra losing her memories, maybe she can stop being a bitch and be a good avatar
#27 to #23 - delivering (10/14/2013) [-]
I like that Varrick was revealed as a villain, I didn't expect that all that much, at least it's interesting.

And the episode had almost no Korra in it, thank god for that, I was getting sick and tired of her angsty teenage antics this season.

But yeah, it still seems that most characters are taking stupid pills this season. Especially Lin Beifong - "Stop bringing up logical points Mako! You're just a regular cop who helped save the whole city that one time! I can't trust you more than I trust these two obviously corrupt cops! Now get out, and stop thinking!"

I wonder how the audience feels that Tenzin has contributed to almost nothing in both seasons?
#29 to #28 - delivering (10/14/2013) [-]
Eh, I personally don't really care all that much. He contributed some stuff in the first season, but whatever.
In the second season he contributed nothing, but at least the parts with him and his family were far more interesting to watch than the main plot, so he is forgiven for that.

i wish korra would stop flipping the **** out every 10 seconds. if she would have just listened ..hell any one of the support characters this whole ******* war could have been avoided.

I don't know how you guys do it, I watched the entire Last Airbender series in a week (I was previously familiar with the series but I never watched all the episodes in order) and after finishing it I was excited to start Korra having never seen any episodes before. But I have to say.... The first episode made me feel disgusted, did they change writers or something because when I watch it I just keep thinking of how ashamed Aang would be.
