Being an atheist isnt about mocking, its just not believing in the existence of a deity. You dont specifically not believe in one kind of religion...

I consider the mocking / disproving ones to be "internet atheists" they learned about it on the internet and it looked cool so now they go around trying to make every Christian upset with it. they're just assholes

I'll admit that I'm one of those assholes.
It all started back when I was bullied in Catholic school.
"you don't believe"..."you're going to hell".
Now, it's my time to pay them back.

I was joking really.
I never went to Catholic school, but I do like to argue, and I like to win an argument even more.
And what argument is easier to win, when your opponent refuses to use fact.

It's not that hard to win an argument when the other guy (like you) is an asshole.

Actually, it is.
Although, I see in this case, with a few people rallying against my side (simply because I'm a asshole) you will win THIS argument...
you will not win a legitimate debate against an asshole, if they have more facts than you.
Regardless of how many homeless men I make fun of, I will win a debate, if I have the better stand point.
So you are incorrect, but will be seen as correct, simply because you are on the internet.
