see the problem is with that, if an athiest saw the devil, hed change his mind, thats what a logical person does

now an IDIOT however, the kind who claims to be athiest just to feel superior to everyone else, with equally poor reasoning as to why god doesnt exist, now this would be hell for that person

You're missing the point. An atheist in life would obviously change his mind when he saw the devil, and would be irritated that the devil is giving crappy arguments that he's heard a thousand times instead of the actual good ones that he COULD be giving.

If the devil "runs" hell, and he is bad. And you go to hell for being bad on earth, and he punishes you for it, wouldn't that make the devil good? (In the scenario that he runs hell.) People who say the devil exists are forgetting the fact that if he was real, and was truly an evil being, he wouldn't be punishing people for eternity in hell for being evil on earth. Because doing so would in turn make him good, not evil.

Well actually, the simple answer is that Lucifer is being punished in Hell as well. He doesn't run it. He's just there too.

As for how he's supposed to influence people on Earth while simultaneously being in Hell, no idea.

But if an atheist saw the devil, he'd already be in hell. No turning back then.
Unless the devil wanted to make a guest appearance on oprah
