I love watching animes without much fandom because I believe that most fandoms ruin the show.
Like Attack on Titan, Mirrai Nikki, Fullmetal Alchemist and other good animes.
Not to mention the cancer that is the Dr. Who-fandom

**karvarausku rolled a random image posted in comment #707292 at Video Games Board - console gaming, pc vs console gaming, video console and games ** same here. I like to watch animes thou if it fits me. SNK (attack on titan) I started to watch from ep. 2 but when everyone started to talk about how it was super awesome I agreed at first, but then it just went down for me from that point...
All the talk how it was the best etc. even thou it was pretty regular with a bit more gore than other that I have watched.

Maincharacter is a whiny bitch...

You know how many anime are like that. This is pretty awesome. Except main character, who is a whiny bitch. I'm looking at you, deadman wonderland.

Try attending an anime-convention and watching all those ************* dress up in the uniforms they wear in Shingeki..
So much cringe.

I have been going to conventions since 2010. You know what are even worse? Naruto cosplayers... They scream, they trash and are just completely annoying... Most of the times I see Naruto screaming "SASUUKEEEE!!!" and running towards random sasuke etc.
Yes people can have fun at conventions, but they should think about other people too.

I've learned to live with that, though. That's just how most cosplayers are.
I was dressed as Sakata Gintoki a couple months ago at a convention, and someone who cosplayed Katsura jumped me...
Let's just say things got pretty awkward from that moment on. The only thing I'm willing to do is striking the pose of the character I'm portraying, when people wanna take pics.

Yeah well my first cosplay was "faun/Satyr" and people took a lot of pictures... I had just gotten out of army and hadn't done any training at all and the fat just came rushing and only later I realized how fat I actually looked in that cosplay -.-'.

Second costume was Cicero from Skyrim.

Btw. what do you usually do in the conventions? I go check the competitions and shows mostly, they are pretty neat.

That's pretty awesome tbh.
I usually spend time in the gamerooms, pwning people in Persona, Soul Calibur, Tekken and so on.
Then I've got a girlfriend who usually has a stand in the artist alleys, hang around and stuff. Most of the cosplay shows make me cringe.. mostly due to the fact that it's Denmark. English isn't our native language, yet some pretend that they just nail that character-voice spot-on. They don't. They really really don't.

thanks .

I know what you mean. In Finland we have this FFFight show (Final Fantasy Fight) where random cosplayers go on show and pretend to be fighting. It was cool for the first years, but when the guys who originally invented it and scripted changed the quality dropped dramatically. I personally know the guys who do the new one known them for years, but they don't take the responsibility and think it's the fault of the ones who participates in it. Makes me kinda angry and sad, because they are missing the potential it had.

English isn't our native language either, but it's not the issue in our shows... It's japan. Sure there are those who can actually speak it, but most of the people just say something "nee-chan, kawaii~" etc.

So we have it pretty much same in here too
