#101 to #16 - adamks (06/15/2014) [-]
This is wrong, because our definition of a full glass is a glass filled with liquid.
#45 to #16 - anon (06/15/2014) [-]
The glas is always to 99.99999999% empty..
Even solid matter is mostly empty.
The reason why we think this is not so are the electromagnetic forces keeping everything in place.
Even super dense neutron stars are most empty.
The only thing close to not being empty from our understanding are black holes, but even that is not sure.
Funfact is that despite that not even space is totaly empty, as there are occurances like vacuum energy and quantum fluctuations.

In C, C++ and Java when you make a array, you usually have to specify how big the array will be (how many things you'll put in it)

If you say a too big number, you reserve a lot of spare memory space, which you won't use
If you say a too small number, you reserve not enough space, possibly crashing the program by overindexing the array and try to read memory addresses that are not yours

Can't you just declare an int var ARR_SIZE then ask a user to input a number and then after that you declare your type into with the identifier inside the []?

Yikes. They should have switched up Ed and Als script; Ed hates milk, so he would see it being half full as pessimistic, and Al would see it being half empty as a good thing.

Cute comic!

As a physicist, the universe doesn't care whether you call the glass half full or half empty, the particles of milk/water fill roughly half of the glass and air particles fill the other. The glass does not care about your opinions, the universe does not care.

Tfw I have never watched FMA because I don't know which one to watch first

Help
User avatar #56 to #53 - sentryphone ONLINE (06/15/2014) [-]
It doesnt really matter which one you watch first. the difference between the two is that the original FMA is based on the manga for about half the series but than the anime over took the manga and instead of fillers or breaks in the anime the animators finished the story their own way. Brotherhood is entirely based off the manga. Personally i like the original more and would suggest that one.
User avatar #57 to #53 - afrodemon (06/15/2014) [-]
both is really good
User avatar #59 to #53 - smaaen ONLINE (06/15/2014) [-]
I liked both, first one is because of nostalgia - and the opening7ending songs, **** yeah. Story is good'ish, some things I hated about it - including the movie.

Brotherhood is by far my favorite, especially since it follows the story, better animation, same voice actors for the important ones. I'd suggest watching original one first, then Brotherhood.
User avatar #60 to #53 - whitie (06/15/2014) [-]
brotherhood follows the mangas story, the original show has an alternate plot

watch original then brotherhood.it will be easier that way.

Watch the original first, because Brotherhood is so much better than FMA you wouldn't be able to stomach it after experiencing the glory of FMA: Brotherhood.

Id say watch the original 51, and then watch Brotherhood.
I only say that because Brotherhood is arguably the better of the two, but the original 51 are a good way to learn all the characters and test how much you will undoubtedly LOVE the show.
Get the 51 episodes out of they way, and then enjoy the long ride of Brotherhood.

dangerbearr , riayl , hcatt , whitie , smaaen , afrodemon , sentryphone Okay guys, thanks for the advice, i'm starting this monday with the original and then brotherhood

Just one question
I'm gonna get feels? Cause I have seen many pictures about a girl and a dog, and I don't know what's the deal with that
Just don't spoil me, just say yes or no to that answer, k?
Thanks again
User avatar #95 to #94 - assrocket (06/15/2014) [-]
The girl and dog are only really around for like - 3 episodes max (with some small mentions if you're watching brotherhood). However, you're going to be destroyed by pretty much every other episode/character.
Happy crying!
User avatar #107 to #94 - dangerbearr (06/18/2014) [-]
You will have to take a day or two to lay in bed and contemplate what you have just witnessed.
The feels are unstoppable, my friend.

Nah man. The girl and the dog are only the tip of the iceberg.

Although the absolute dread you'll be feeling for that episode, knowing that Nina and Alexander will be killed, and hoping beyond hope that they'll be fine, and seeing the piece fall into place for their death.

Honestly, being spoiled about the dog makes the entire episode that much more horror inducing. Is good, man.

That depends very much on you. The girl and dog is a bit sad, but I was never heart broken over it - more angry at the turnout. There are other sad parts, but nothing actually made me teary sad - well, one scene maybe a little, and you'll know which when you get there.

This one isn't even consisting of absurdly trying-hard-to-be-cute anime figures.
