One reason the ending to Another sucked was the way no one gave two ***** about the fire raging throughout the building for two episodes. No one ran around screaming fire, and it always seemed like an afterthought.

The fact that Misaki could see the dead the whole time and said nothing is retarded.

The fact that Akazawa thought it'd be a good idea to NOT tell the new kid the rules that would prevent the class from being slaughtered, is retarded.

The whole plot depending on the school not shutting down after a gabillion kids died in it is retarded.

All in all, I thought the show was not very good, and it's been awhile since I watched an anime and felt that way.

1) People were literally going crazy enough to kill their own classmates to end the curse, ignoring the building on fire isnt that unexpected.
2) Misaki was being treated as if she didnt exist by the whole class, and they didnt know until the end that killing the dead person would end the curse prematurely until the very end. Even if she told them who was dead, they wouldnt know what to do.
3) Akazawa was going to tell him, but he met Misaki before she did, and the curse was happening anyway, Misaki's twin sister was the first death of the curse.
4) This is actually valid, they really should have shut down the school.

1.before anyone but the main characters knew about the "send the dead back to the dead" thing, no one gave a **** about that fire in the dining hall
2. They already knew that treating the dead person like they didn't exist would prevent the calamity, as it was explained way earlier in the show. She still didn't tell anyone though.
3. It still doesn't make sense that no one told the new kid about the rules, and just sat back as he broke the **** out of them, and then later get mad at him for it

I have to agree actually. The entire time, they were freaking out over a situation that in hindsight had a lot of easy solutions. And the fact that Misaki waited literally until the very end to bring up the fact that she could see the dead is kind of a bitch move. She couldn't just say, "oh, yeah, I know who it is. Just in case you guys wanted to live or something"
I know that FJ is gonna rage over this because this happens to be an anime that they love to death, but it really isn't that great. I like the concept, but it needed work

The only thing I liked about the show was the opening. The animation wasn't too bad either, minus the meme that the blood looks like pie filling

Honestly the ending of Elfen Lied was worse. However good the anime and plot was, in the end the badass psychic girl who kicks as gets her ovaries pounded out of her in a fight (not literally) and you don't get to see where she goes after the fight. The screen just shows a clock and says ende.

Watch Vampire Knight and see how pissed off you get from that. The female protagonist is dumb as a sack of bricks except bricks actually serve a purpose. She is supposed to be highly trained and always rushes into fights then gets frozen in fear and needs to be saved. The actions she takes make as much sense as a submarine with a screen door. She has about as much willpower as a schoolgirl on a train being attacked by a tentacle monster and as much brainpower as a hot girl in a horror movie. She says "Don't worry, it's nothing" so many times, if you made it a drinking game you'd die of alcohol poisoning halfway through the 3d episode. The main male protagonist is such anti-social loner it pisses me off. His backstory at least justifies it to some degree, but it wouldn't kill him to express his feelings towards the girl. I hated the other guy the entire time, even after it's revealed that he is in fact good. Actually, I hated him more because he didn't even have the decency to become a villain. The ending pisses me off more than anything because it either is brilliantly done but alludes to a follow-up season that doesn't seem to be coming, or is so hypocritically ******** it makes me want to scream.

tl;dr I feel the same way about Vampire Knight as you do about that show

I've never watched it, but I found your synopsis to be quite entertaining
