Ok. The VN is not retarded. Whether or not you like it, it's well written and created, at least, and quite a bit of work went into it. You may not like it, but it's just wrong to say that it's retarded or **** .

Greatest game series of all time? Maybe, maybe not. They were very good games, but hardly revolutionary.

Your aggression and use of very stupid insults hardly makes your point stronger.
User avatar #82 to #81 - certifiedidiot (09/13/2013) [-]
So all it comes down to is opinion and choice of language, personally I just find it rather repulsive when rather nonsensical whimsical anime or MLP makes cross overs with tv shows but even more so with some of my favorite game series, I consider Deus Ex master piece of in the gaming world.

And that anime or what ever you may desire to call it, seems to be nothing more than a flash version of a ''book porn'' that so many women read, and ''quite a bit of work went into it'' is hardly anything to brag off, a lot of things, a whoooooooooole lot of things, the most you can give it credit for is to appeal to some peoples emotions.
User avatar #89 to #82 - beamersmack **User deleted account** (09/13/2013) [-]
"... the most you can give it credit for is to appeal to some peoples emotions."

That is literally what every game, book, TV show, etc etc do. That is kind of the point of entertainment. It appeals to our emotions.
User avatar #92 to #89 - certifiedidiot (09/13/2013) [-]
And yet that anime of yours suck at it.
User avatar #95 to #92 - beamersmack **User deleted account** (09/13/2013) [-]
Probably because you can't understand it. Its no different then watching Breaking Bad, Pacific Rim, Walking Dead, etc.
User avatar #96 to #95 - certifiedidiot (09/13/2013) [-]
I understand it, I just simply consider it a rather ****** presentation of the art form, and far inferior to the work of Deus Ex, which is frankly being humiliated by being seen together with such shabby creations

I feel like you've never watched anime.
User avatar #99 to #97 - certifiedidiot (09/13/2013) [-]
I have, I just find most of it borderline retarded to begin with, a lot of them seem to suffer from wacky/retarded and predictable story development, I find a lot of anime quite pathetic really.

rin story arc master race

(first female character i actually felt something fore, like romantically, just the way she acted and how she thought and how she struggled with things, it reminded me of myself so i just kinda... felt for her. and the deeper it went the more i felt connected to her. i'm not fedora faggot, i have a girlfriend and i fell... i guess in love with the idea of a fictional character)

One of the most interesting stories I have played in a game. Plus a really cool feel and a ton of memorable moments. And god the takedowns were brutal.

The game has sold 2.18 million copies across all platforms as of September 30, 2011.
It has since been on sale three times on Steam and is about to come out on Wii U.
Game was a smash hit, biggest seller of the year for Square Enix. And had great reviews. It made more then 87 million dollars in first three months of sales.
In no way what so ever was it underrated or badly sold.

black ops did 25 million in the same period, while being far inferior game.

even at 2.2 million copies it was underrated. It was on my shortlist for game of the year, and most people have never played it. I wasn't trying to make this an argument, I just feel it was such a good game that more people should have played it. Sorry if that offends you.

Every VN is free if you look.
I always say Fate Stay/Night if you want an action eroge, and Saya no Uta if you want some feels. I heard good things about S-genjou no Maou though. I'm 90% sure that's how you spell it.
User avatar #70 to #13 - ryander (09/13/2013) [-]
G-Senjou no Maou*, It's good. Fate stay night is great. Can't recommend Saya no uta. I'm playing Grisaia no Kajitsu at the moment, it's also good. Sengoku rance is also good if you're looking for hentai.

#122 to #14 - fillytickler (09/13/2013) [-]
You need to login to view this link If you prefer torrents
If you want a direct download, I'm having trouble finding one.
For the torrent, I think it comes with an .iso file. If you don't have CD burning software, you can get Daemon Tools Lite.
I had this in paragraph form, here's it bulleted though.
1. Run DTLite in your DAEMON TOOLS folder you download
2. Click "Add File"
3. Select the .iso for G-Senjou No Maou
4. Once it appears on the "Image Catalog," click "Mount." (It's a big green Play button)
5. Wait for DTLite to attach the .iso to your CD drive
Right here, for most programs, is where you're done. You just click on the CD drive and voila! But since the .iso is the japanese game, you need the patch.
6. Go into the folder that you downloaded that contains the .iso
7. There should be the patch application. Mine was named "[TLWiki]G-SenjounoMaouEnglish_1.0".
8. Run it.
9. Just wait for it to finish. It'll download the .iso and patch it for you.
10. Play the damn game.

Have a wallpaper.
