I stopped watching it as a kid, not because I grew up, but simply because the show became **** (kinda like spongebob).

Is it better now?

Depends on what exactly you thought was bad.

Right now its pretty great, especially the fight scenes and the new season for X and Y increased much better, Hell, Ash actually looks older

Simply because everything was predictable. Team Rocket would interrupt something once per show and easily get defeated/blast off again no matter what they're plan is every single time.

how can it get better or worse? it's the same **** every episode.
-walk, meet new pokemon, turns out someone owns them or protects them, battle them, team up against team rocket, send them flying, they become friends, keep walking.

No... Sadly it isn't.

Though, I'm sure the new 2-Hour "Pokemon Origins" anime will be nice. Red's the main character, and in two hours he's grown older than Ash has in years.
And he doesn't...start... with a Pikachu.

The main series anime won't be any good unless Brock comes back.
Friggin' green haired dingleberry thinks he can replace the best anime character ever.

to be perfectly honest i liked it all until the gen 5 series started, the second they decided to get rid of brock was the second the pokemon anime went to ****.

I stopped after they ditched Misty, Brock was awsome though so I did catch a few episodes a year or two later. May's chest size still doesn't make up for Misty's absence.
