It made sense. He gave freedom to the ones forced into poverty by proving that the Sovereign was wrong.

Neither was innocent and both payed the price with their lives. One literally, one figuratively. They shared an equal fate.

Anyone with his physique can take on Zero, I don't get why Suzaku can never be Suzaku again.

Because when Lancelot exploded during his fight against Kallen they believed that Suzaku died in the explosion, rendering his identity as Suzaku Kururugi gone.

Suzaku accepted his fate, his "Geass". Suzaku had blood on his hands too, im a much more literal way than Lelouch.

SPOILER-Kinda

there's no guarantee in the anime that he actually died. It is entirely possible that before the zero requiem, he took c.c.'s code. in that case, he would survive while still fulfilling his goal, as well as taking away c.c.'s immortality, making her capable of dying so he can still grant her wish.

Wouldn't he have had to kill C.C. to take her code though? I don't remember my memory isn't the greatest but if that's not the case you have a very valid point. If I do remember it right though then it can't be. It shows C.C. after he united the world.

He took his father's code. Even though he was absorbed by C's world after the connection failed, he had his hand (bearing the sigil) against Lelouch's neck. When Lelouch yells: "Now, BEGONE!", both Charles and Marian are disintegrated. The code requires death to activate, as seen with Charles, and only those with active codes are able to telepathically transfer memories, as seen between Nunally and Lelouch in the end scene.

Thus, it is possible that both he, and CC are immortal.

Lelouch actually lived. He took on C.C.'s role, and was therefore immortal the whole time. C.C.'s wish was to die, or perhaps to be truly loved? It was never made 100% clear, but she was granted both of these wishes by Lelouch.

Don't believe me? In the special edition DVD of the Japanese release, there is an extra screen in the last scene that shows a man HEAVILY resembling Lelouch smirk after C.C. asks "right, Lelouch?". And as for Lelouch granting C.C.'s wish to be loved, he actually promised her in the world of ragnarok that he would give her the life she wish she had. It is suggested he meant a life with him, as it is referenced multiple times that there may be some sort of intimate connection between the two of them.

If that isn't enough evidence or you, R3 is confirmed.

It's not R3 that has been announced, it's a spin off based in Europe that takes place between R1 and R2, the first movie has already been released int he japanese cinema.

Ah, I haven't heard the recent details.

If you could read Japanese, it would detail the release of R3, not a spin-off story. But whatever, I'll just wait and see.

It'll only take you a few episodes. It really does grow on you.

I do recall the art style being a tad odd at first, but I don't even think about it now. I've seen the series 3 times.

Despise the ending. Don't care who the person is, it's still impossible to focus the hatred of the entire world onto them alone.
