Gundam Lanza animation


So I've been working on this animation alone from scratch since october first and finished 2 days ago.

Its a really good animation tito, you should be very proud.

The animation is pretty goddamn good for something 1:40 long and you made a bunch from scratch. When I say 1:40 long I mean it in the sense that that is a long ass time, I've tried animating **** , 1:40 ain't a ******* joke to do.

The shading on everything in my opinion is great and in parts like him kicking the lance or him moving around it very much keeps the visual interest up in what otherwise would be relatively boring.

Now time for some critiques if you don't mind
1:21 - I think you should have the camera appear a little bit before the spear thing at the top opens up as it goes by so quickly and we don't see the spear fully before it opens up that it can be quite confusing what has actually happened, to me it seemed like he had thrown a new weapon.

0:56 - I would say maybe remove the movement background thing, the blue stuff, and have the thing it's shooting be in frame at some point, it's a sudden change of scenery and in my opinion can be quite glaring and disorienting to the audience.

"Lanza" means lance in spanish,
and the mean lance being used at the end is its signature weapon that can pierce shields.

I can't understand half of what is going on in this, but it's cool as **** . Not only is Tito a master of ancient Hawaiian history, but he's also a master of animation. Ehat's the song btw?

I am commencing the next animation next month as soon as I finish polishing the idea.

After watching it again I saw all the little details you put into it, like the part where the mech grabs the sword parts off its back and puts them together. As it was only there for a split second I missed it the first time, but after rewatching it I saw it and it made the rest of the brilliant animation make sense.

Truthfully this was the original song I intended to use, but I didn't want to delete hard-worked animation for the sake of matching the music. So I just picked 3 other songs until I found a closer match...
