I watched it a few months back, i enjoyed it ALOT and it became my gateway to gintama pretty much, Gintoki's Voice actor also has a role in SKET Dance actually.
To make it very short... SKET is Gintama in a high school setting, the author used to work on Gintama back in the day, which is why they did the crossovers.

So that's why they did the crossover. It looks very interesting, and seeing how much I liked Gintama, this should be something for me. Thank you for your reply.

Hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
Also if you like rock and metal, then you are in for a good run of very well done OST.

I hope so too. I do in fact like that kind of music, so I'm looking forward to it.

Monogatari: Series Second (It's not really the "2nd" series per say so don't get confused)

It's like a poor mans Gintama but Sket Dance had lots of great aspects that made it pretty endearing.

It was pretty formulaic, but had lots of shining points.
At times it was interesting, and it was a little cheesy and the serious arcs were a little too serious sometimes but all in all it was decent enough. The plot was lacking but kind of there.

Unfortunately it pretty much devolved into an uninteresting grind with too much retardedness and fanservice near the end of the anime.

Basically, it's okay but should have been better. 7.5/10?

If they ever continued it, it might be redeemable.

Wow, I didn't expect someone to give such well put review here on fj. Thank you for your critique. It seems like something I would like, so I've put it on my to watch list.

Is there a romantic subplot in it?

It's essentially Gintama but in high school but I wouldn't say it's as funny.

Thanks. I should probably check it out after I've finished Baccano.

Sounds good, I've just put it onto my to watch list, so I'm looking forward to seeing it for myself.
