Actually, Hambo isn't completely pale, it has been presumed that she refrained from eating the red from him due to her love for him. He just faded over the many years.

"The toy is extremely faded, but there is still a red tint to Hambo, meaning that Marceline had never sucked the color from him in the many centuries of ownership."

When you Finn and Jake see her in Marceline's memories, both her shirt and Hambo are faded.

Somehow I can relate to his wish to get a stick with a tiny ghost in it who says "You're not... a genius..." I'd totally buy one of these.

How is it that a children's show has on of the most depressing and mature story-lines on TV?

The concept was originally developed for adults.

I personally believe adults and even young adults don't give children enough credit. A lot of people believe that kids should have retarded, nonsense, happy-go-lucky shows all the time.

When i was a kid, I remember favoring the TV shows and movies that didn't act condescending to me and featured more mature features. Yeah, maybe I didn't understand all the jokes but, for the most part, all the emotions and tone of the story was received fully.

Maybe that was just me though, I had to grow up fast due to my home life. I really hated when adults treated me like a cute widdle baby(even when I was a cute widdle baby inb4 implying).

Look at Batman: the animated series. Gordon actually gets shot and put into a coma. Batman bleeds. people die often. yet it didn't scar children for life???

This show went from a young boy with a dog for a brother who can grow and stretch. to a show with a post apocalyptic storey line about a vampire and a man who lost his fiancee because of a crown

This show is ******* awesome!

I completely agree.
I don't think there's ever been a show where I would be on the verge of tears if it were to be cancelled, but Adventure Time would push me over.

Best ******* thing about that episode. Simon sang the "Cheers" theme song. I think at that moment, Adventure Time became my parent's new favorite show.

Thats because the most depth a show on MTV will ever have is about the same as a half-full bathtub.

I wish to state an easter egg I found myself

Finn's hat belongs to Pendalton Wards first creation: buenu the bear.
This is revealed in the episode where Finn's hat comes to life, and at the end he gives it to the wizard, at which point Finn says "looks like I need a new hat" and Jake says "okay, lets go skin another evil bear"
