you have to understand Endeavor's frustration. All Might was made to be the symbol of peace, his quirk and personality made sure of that. Endeavor worked so hard to get where he's at, yet he's cucked by some rooty tooty hero with a quirk where no one knows how it works. added with the fact that his arranged wife supports Todoroki looking up to All Might because Endeavor isn't ****, this is a grade B cucking. the only thing worse is if All Might talks about how much better of a person todoroki is compared to his father while simultaneously spitroasting his wife with Deku.

They go on about how she essentially was forced into the marriage, but that doesnt really make any sense
Did they need money? Cause this bitch can easily create icebergs in an instant, she could earn billions

The dub is widely known for being fantastic. It's on the same level, if not better than the sub. Just to give you an idea, the guy who voices All Might is the same guy who voiced Senator ******* Armstrong in MGR. So I'd say yes, it's good.

He may save lives, but he willingly ruins those of people he should care for as well. Villains that pretend to be decent people piss me off more than anything else. At least most of the other villains accept that the world's better off without people like them.

And that's an excuse for pouring scalding hot water on a child who does nothing but admire you? Yea, Endeavor's certainly a dick, but his actions still protect the innocent. He's become obsessed with the idea of surpassing All Might, but outside of the actions to achieve that goal, he is by all means a hero, acting within the means of the law.

Meanwhile, you have someone like Stain, who has non-selfish goals. He wants to create a return to a golden age of heroes, not for his own benefit, but the benefit of the world. While this could be considered a noble cause, it is his actions being outside the law that make him a villain, the same way vigilantes are classified as villains.

If it's simply he's pissed he's Number 2, then yes, he would be considered a villain by you. However, until we find the reason behind it, you can't say he's a villain because by your own standards, the reason behind it can act as an excuse.

None of the good guys in Dragon Ball beat kids against their will. Goku trains with Gohan when he knows he's ready and Gohan needs to improve, and when Gohan started to get tired he was ready to stop for the day. Vegeta once punched Trunks accidentally, and clearly felt bad for it afterwards.

The ones who do actually try to harm kids are considered bad guys. Endeavor isn't Goku or Vegeta, he's Cell. Torturing a scared child until they finally put up a good fight. And guess what kind of character Cell is?

vegeta would literally beat the **** out of gohan. ginyu saga freeza saga. Cell's intention to do that COMES from vegeta, that is why vegeta had to defeat his cell for the kamehameha to be effective.
Oh. and gohan embracing his desire not to kill was cell was the part of gohan that was cell. and by father son kamehameha removed his father cells which could damage the part of ultimate cell reformed in otherworld, and by accepting from android 16 that sometimes there is no other choice than to kill, he removed the cell in his body that caused him not to want to fight.
and it was BECAUSE they abused kids that he was ready to take on cell.
that guy has a point. they are abusive. but once they defeat cell, which is their combined abusiveness to the whole world. (a world tournament test? seriously?)
to conclude how abusive the z fighters are, the camera crew and satan do not get cell juniors. which is actually proof that mister satan beat cell, because the others' wouldn't have known to beat the part of them out of cell that was originally them. piccolo laments that the senzu bean didn't hurt that bad. that's him beating his cell. cell can't zenkai from lack of energy, he can zenkai from 1 piccolo cell. it was Goku's strategy, since piccolo is technically a child consumated by goku and piccolo jr. making piccolo's cell partly his responsibility. but only in otherworld. enter king kai bomb.
bottom line. cell is only abusive as the z fighters. look it up.

It ain't bait. I'm just going by what I see. Endeavor isn't Dario Brando. He didn't kick the door down everyday and grab todoroki by his neck. Todoroki didn't go without food or anything else that he needed. There's no proof Endeavor was harsh towards todoroki outside of training.

And swatting his mom, while pretty dark and unnecessary, is no reason for her to snap on todoroki

Endeavor is not a hero. He's a villain who wears the mask of a hero because all of his self-worth is based around beating All-Might. And it's a pretty thin mask at that.

Appreciate the unblocking in any case (I was disappointing since I do find your comments amusing, and you're one of the people who set me on the path to dnd.) And that he was, but he isn't really wrong though. Heroes are supposed to be self-less people, doing what's right because it's right. His whole argument is that "heroes" nowadays are a bastardization of the original concept, which isn't wrong. Does that justify his actions? Oh **** no.

I refuse to see it that way. Motivation is meaningless. It's moreso the result that justifies the motivation.

Endeavor isn't the second strongest hero; there are tons of heroes with stronger quirks than him, even in the known world. Sure, he has arrogance and a rivalry that makes him do questionable or downright distasteful ****, but that doesn't stop him from saving lives of citizens around him.

In a way, he's an inverse Stain. You said stain wasn't wrong, and you're sort of correct. Heroes became bastardizations of what they were, but at the same time they're still heroes. Stain had the makings of a hero and a worthy goal - reform heroism into what it used to be. He could have accomplished this by going down the path of heroism, but instead he turned to villainy. Just because Stain's cause is noble does not mean he is a hero, just like how Endeavor's actions are ignoble, but he is still a hero.
