I had mine out about four years ago. For me, it was a piece of cake. I didn't even take any of the generic Vicodin they gave me afterward. Not a lot of pain, just tired and hungry all the time, because all they let me eat was instant mashed potatoes and Jell-O.

Man...those first Burger King French fries after surgery were like heaven...

it's nuthin. You go to sleep, wake up, in a fog for a few hours, sleep at home, 50% pain in two days, 25% after a week, 0% after two weeks.

DON'T DO GAS for anesthetic though!
Have them put you under with I.V. anesthetics! Safer and doesn't kill brain cells.
And make sure to keep the holes left by the teeth clean - they get infected easily.

You will feel amazing-ly weird when you wake up.

All my teeth were impacted and one was geminated (meaning 2 teeth fused together to make one god-forsaken mega-tooth.)

It's a wild ride, my friend. Pray for hydrocodone.

I had all 4 removed last summer, ask for Toridol pain meds they work as well as t3 but don't make you sick if you have a touchy stomach like me.

get your parents to film you as you leave.

I'm getting mine out this summer, and I'm going to make sure they film me (I hope I'm hilarious instead of vulgar)

It's not that bad. I got all 4 pulled at one time. It hurts for a couple days but then you don't even really feel it anymore. I actually pulled out my own stitches after 2 weeks because they were bothering me.

You'll be fine bro.

O thank you that actually makes me feel better

No problem. The worst part about it is not being able to eat everything you want to for a while lol

A solution to this is getting 2 removed at a time, it takes longer but you can eat again right away. just gotta heavily favor your good side. I had 2 pulled at a time and went out to play pool like 2 hours after i had the first 2 removed.

also if they dont knock you out the sound of them breaking your teeth inside your head is super cool.

I sat and listened to my ipod as the dentist took them out, best days ever

I woke up during surgery and felt them yanking on my tooth. I was so drugged up I couldn't move or do anything but sit there and feel the horrible, ungodly pain.

Nah jk it didn't hurt at all.

I woke up in the middle and felt them digging around, but didn't feel anything. I also had to listen to their stupid conversation about Grey's Anatomy...
