Alright, slightly new discussion. PC's are obviously superior, but in saying that, they cost significantly more. Good luck building a Pc for the same price as a 360/ps3. I live in aus, and 360s cost about 300, and ps3 cost 400. I built my pc for 950. Can anyone make a better pc for 350 bucks? How would that compare to a ps3/360?

I've had both systems, and I say to say that I enjoyed my time with the 360 more, which is why I got rid of my PS3. I'm not gonna be the guy to sit here and rage at the PS3; it was decent. Not to mention having the so many good exclusive series like Infamous, Uncharted, God of War, Little Big Planet, and a couple other ones. That being said, the biggest reason Xbox beats PS3 for me is the online. I would much rather pay the $50 a year for Live than use the free playstation network. The interface, along with chatting and other social aspects, were sh*t compared to 360. It is also my opinion that the PS3 controller is the worst single object to have ever come into existence in this universe. That thing feels like a child's toy in my hand, the triggers are a mess, and having convex thumbsticks has to be the worst idea anyone has ever come up with. The last thing I hated about my PS3 was all of those horrible constant extra-long updates. I haven't had my PS3 in a while (got rid of it just b4 the whole hacker thing last year lol), so I hope they have improved that.

holy **** that was too long.

I fully agree with the controller thing. I would only buy a PS3 if i could get a adapter for a 360 console. I love the ps3's exclusives. Xbox isnt as good there. THanks for the propper reply good sir.

their pros and cons sort of equal out, it really comes down to personal choice. i chose the PS3 because many of my friends had it and played online, also there were some console exclusive games for PS3 at the time that i was interested in.

I've heard that PS3 has slightly better graphics, also a connection to the PS3 network or whatever it's called is free (with 360 you need Live, which is $15 a month last I checked). Apparently, PS3 can also play bluray disks, though bluray is overrated so this is a bit of a superfluous function...

And you have to consider that some games are only made for one console, though most are made for both...

Also, personally I like the feel of a 360 controller better. They are pretty much the same though, other than one analog stick and the d-pad being in different spots...
