Aren't Crocodiles have infinite lifespans as well, the only reason they die out besides what you mentioned is that they don't have the required resources to keep feeding, they eventually can't sustain themselves, having become so huge.

Even so the thought of a 15 year+ old lobster is kinda surprising and unusual.

The largest lobster on record, according to the 1998 Guinness Book of World Records, is 44 pounds, 6 ounces, 3 feet 6 inches from the end of tail fan to tip of largest claw. The oldest lobster on record is believed to be around 100 years old. Since the only way to judge a lobsters age is by it's size, any figure relevant to the age of a lobster is just a guess. There's no way to really tell. It is believed that they could live as long as 150 years. But no one knows for sure.

HOLY ******* ****!

That's basically what he just said. If nothing were to interfere with them, they'd live forever.
