it just bothers me that he is potentially damaging a $25 dollar game
User avatar #18 to #6 - cshp (03/24/2013) [-]
It's also the more expensive version.
User avatar #27 to #18 - thatscrewedupkid ONLINE (03/24/2013) [-]
more expensive version is a gold cartridge

one of the greatest of N64 games at that, too
User avatar #22 to #6 - vexaton (03/24/2013) [-]
$25?! Where the **** can you get this game for that little? My girlfriend bought it for like $100! Granted I live in Norway though
User avatar #25 to #22 - thatscrewedupkid ONLINE (03/24/2013) [-]

User avatar #26 to #25 - vexaton (03/24/2013) [-]
Yeah it wasn't in the box or anything... Just the game itself
User avatar #28 to #26 - thatscrewedupkid ONLINE (03/24/2013) [-]

User avatar #29 to #28 - vexaton (03/24/2013) [-]

Went to the flea market a week ago and bought a barely used Nintendo 64 with LoZ Ocarina of Time for 30 bucks. Feels good man.

The game didn't deserve as much praise as it got. It was good, but nothing to dick ride.

I agree. It was a great game no doubt. But it's had many improvement through the series. People just let their biases take over.
User avatar #33 to #23 - snakebelmont ONLINE (03/24/2013) [-]
I'm not talking about ocarina of time, i'm talking about that mudderfacker putting grease all over a game cartridge
User avatar #34 to #33 - taintedangel (03/24/2013) [-]
Oh.... well my comment still stands on OoT.
User avatar #36 to #34 - snakebelmont ONLINE (03/24/2013) [-]
It's the first real 3d adventure game of it's kind. it was an inspiration to many other developers. The game now has aged a bit considering but it's still fun to play.
User avatar #37 to #36 - taintedangel (03/24/2013) [-]
Oot, like FF7 is only getting dick-ridden BECAUSE it was the first ones of it's respective series to be done in 3D. That, and people can't get over their nostalgia boners.
User avatar #39 to #37 - snakebelmont ONLINE (03/24/2013) [-]
I agree with you there, it's the same people who still think goldeneye is a great game. It's not it's aged really badly.

My personal favourate zelda is majora's mask

Yes, that was the only good N64 Zelda, due to the fact that it had more depth and storyline to it. You can fail side quests, change into 4 other forms, and you had more of an impact on the world than in OoT. You had more emotional scenes than Oot ever did.
-Reuniting Kafei and Anju
-letting the mail man finally flee
-getting the feels from reading the subtext that Cremea will secretly drug Romani so she'll die peacefully in her sleep when the moon falls
-seeing the moon ******* shead a tear as if it knows it will die too
-freeing the father of his gibdo affliction and reuniting him with his daughter
-helping Lulu the Zora get her eggs back for her
I can go on.

It was also dark and disturbing as **** , but it did so with purpose.
-knowing that the transforming masks were the souls of dead beings
-Link screaming in agony whenever he put one on
-the fact he was forcefully form-changed
-the happy mask salesman
-the elegy of emptiness statues
-the mummified man jumping out of the closet
there are too much disturbing elements to describe in this kids game.

He's right, the early version of the 64 had gyroscopic features that were never utilized, and it wouldn't work unless the floor was level.

You can talk **** about them all you want and i'll understand, but I will say the analog sticks on them were solid compared to the official controllers. But yeah, usually they're complete **** .
