What does the picture of 'The Stig' have to do with this story??

It's a gif, possibly to represent his reaction to the situation?

One of two things;
That picture is taken from a clip where Stig flips a table, so it could be to express rage
Possibly because Top Gear is British and so are the Scottish.

The first seems more likely.

Are you ******* retarded? Did you just say that the Scottish are Brittish? That's like saying that the USA is Canadian. Like saying Brasil is Mexican. You tart. The Scottish are SCOTTISH.

The scottish are british you numpty, you're under our crown ************ . British doesnt mean england, it's england, scotland and wales. all on our small lil island.

And yet, if you call Canadians American, watch their reaction. The same is sad for the Scottish.

That's why I said that the first was much more likely, but an American might have thought that 'Stig is British, Scot is British'. Believe me when I say I had no desire to lump the rest of poor old Britain in with the angry ginger-folk of the north.

Anger mode disengaged. The comment read poorly. My mistake, kind sir.

It's perfectly understandable, Scottish rage is something we English have been taught to be prepared for.

I'm actually more of a self hating American, which causes me to rage mode upon my brethren and their unbridled ignorance :I. I have Scottish and Irish blood in me somewhere though.
