In your last year of elementary school, your school system had a **** ton of computers all over, they were vital for studies, and they even gave ******* ELEMENTARY kids school email accounts?

How ******* old are you, 10?
User avatar #15 to #13 - walkerjam (05/23/2013) [-]
I'm 19, thank you for asking.
I just happen to live in Sweden, where we actually care about education.
User avatar #16 to #15 - CallMeCrisco (05/23/2013) [-]
Ah, well that explains it. No need to thumb me down man, I was just in disbelief. I'm only 22 days from 22 and back when I was in elementary we had ONE computer lab and only one of my teachers had a desktop.

What did you hallucinate?
User avatar #25 to #24 - CallMeCrisco (05/23/2013) [-]
Nothing awesome. It was just an auditory hallucination - the only kind I've ever had. I heard my dog barking... 4 months after she'd died. I noped myself right to bed.

>Be at School (aged about 15).
>School have blocked just about all game sites and every website that could be seen as remotely dirty
>When you try to access a blocked site an image of a padlock appears on screen with a message saying "this site is blocked by XXXXXXXX School"
>Fast forward about a month
>Teacher leaves laptop unattended and logged in over lunch break
> Two my mates discover all teachers have permission to edit files on the server but not to block and unblock sites
> They discover jpeg image of padlock that's used for the block along with the text file
> Replace image of padlock with image of headteachers face photo-shopped onto Hitler

MFW it takes the school three months to notice and by that point all backup tapes and modification records have been overwriten

One of my best high school memories includes playing a SSB emulator. We jacked three keyboards from other computers, connected it to one comp, and we'd huddle around and yell at Kirby for spamming.

You're in secondary school, like me. Secondary school where I'm at usually goes from 11 to 18 (seven year levels). In North America, it's split into middle school (first three years) and high school (last four years).
#63 to #56 - anon (05/23/2013) [-]
Technically, highschool is "Preparatoria". Middleschool is "Secundaria". I can understand the confusion since a lot of translations in tv series use "Secundaria" for highschool.

My friend Ieuan was banned from the computer room because he was playing Mario Kart on a N64 emulator and king tard of the class noticed. He gathered a few of his friends around Ieuan's computer and shouted "haha, Ieuan's hacking the computers!"

Windows file system limits the size of a single file txt, or doc file to 4 GB. In order for a textfile to reach that size, OP would have had to type 2.71 million pages of text in less than an hour, or more than 45,000 pages per minute, or 750+ pages per second. Even if he managed this, the file would not have saved if it was over the limit, and no network setup would allow a single file of that size to be distributed over a private network.

My school used to have an extremely easy way to shut down any computers on their network remotely from any other computer that was said network, you could also send messages that would pop up on the affected computers immediately before the shutdown.
In this one CAD class this girl drew a detailed penis on her computer, and sent it to every computer on the school's network and made them all shutdown.

I just made a program similar - Instead of typing moose a bunch, I typed pen15 in binary in a .txt document until having it opened sucks 1GB of memory to run it. Then, I made an executable file which opens 10 copies of it - I'm putting it in the school system now XD

I had a brilliant idea but I don't know if it will work. Make a reservation on amy's baking co, but with a giant string of characters. Will this crash their site/ comp?
Please excuse me if I am incorrect.
