Well if you, as a Brazilian, want to continue to have human life sustainable in your country, mass deforestation is an unfortunate necessity. I'm not excusing the extremely corrupt business practices, reckless expansion, and inhumane treatment of natives, but the deforestation really is unavoidable. Instead of advocating against it entirely, try to argue for it being done responsibly.

In absolutely no conditions am I going to be in favor of the destruction of the Amazon forest. The raw amount of animal species and possible ancient civilization ruins that exist in such a vast forest and my love for culture and history prevent me from even thinking of the possibility. We already destroyed 85% of our Atlantic Forest and the effects haunt us to this day

Then leave Brazil. Only thing you can do is help lower the human population, because the land is needed to help sustain it. Responsible deforestation doesn't require as much land, but it's still going to be a big chunk.

Well the thing is, we have an enormous amount if land unused and with no forests. About 70% of our farmable land has jack **** in it. So we don't need to cut down the largest home of wild species in the world like it's our job to.

That's an issue of competence and conviction, not a mark against revolution. Not that it's easy to rally people like that at all. Hope you guys figure something out, i really hate to see that kind of exploitation. I'll eventually be going to Brazil to clear non-native crazy ants those ******* are nearly as damaging as the deforestation , so maybe I'll get to sabotage logging equipment too
