which you are right to some extent but also I can say from personal experience that I have been to New York and if you so much as ask for directions you will get told to " **** off " this happened to me three separate times there. Maybe I am just used to southern hospitality but that has never happened to me here in Texas nor have I ever done that to someone that has asked me for directions. to each their own I suppose

New Yorker, reporting in. Confirmed, in NYC everyone kinda sucks. Upstate people are nicer, and on Long Island. But generally, you're not getting friendly help from someone in the city unless you're paying them.
User avatar #169 to #103 - ICEDgrunge (02/11/2014) [-]
I live on Long Island, and I gotta say the people here can be pretty good.

New York isn't mean, it's just ******* insane. I was walking with a few of my friends to see a band play in Brooklyn, and a couple dudes approached us from the other side of the street, asked if any one us the four of us were named John, we responded 'no', then one of the guys told us that "You guys almost died today" after walking away. **** is ******* .

What part of Long Island do you guys live? I've lived here 22 years and I feel like it's full of grouchy assholes who are pissed off that they've been on the damn island their whole lives. The city is full of a wider variety. And a lot of Long Islanders that work there and are pissed. I can't wait to leave.

#186 to #125 - autoxx (02/11/2014) [-]
LOL no.
For lending out $10 for every dollar they have.
For artificially devaluing the dollar of their country.
For playing roulette with entire economies and often losing.
For lending money to government that the government has every right to for free.
These are a few to start, I'm tired and don't feel like looking it up but your view of banks is naive.
User avatar #228 to #186 - sursum (02/11/2014) [-]
Wait, the government has the right to any money held by a bank? The **** ?
#229 to #228 - autoxx (02/11/2014) [-]
The money is borrowed against the equity of the country.
The money by definition is the country's.
User avatar #231 to #229 - sursum (02/11/2014) [-]
That just does away with the entire concept of private property? A bank's capital consists of it's users deposits, so in what way does a government have a right to it if the depositors have already payed tax.
#233 to #231 - autoxx (02/11/2014) [-]
The user's deposits consist of only a small fraction of what the bank is permitted to loan.
There have been more than a few cases where a bank could not prove it loaned "real" money and so the receiver didn't have to pay (most loopholes have now been closed though).

Also, you only ever RENT property. If you think you own it, try not paying tax on it for a few years.
User avatar #238 to #233 - sursum (02/11/2014) [-]
So your saying the government is automatically entitled to any amount of cash they want from a bank?

The bank creates money from nothing. It loans money on the equity of YOU. It loans money on the equity of the country for which it has no right to lay claim and still you think it should make yet additional profit by loaning money to the country it freely profits form?

Look at it this way, american banks have give or take 440 million in liquid assets to "cushion" withdrawals.
They have trillion between account holders and loans.
If everyone took their money out of the bank at once, the economy would collapse in a day.

I'm done explaining it though, you need to do some research on your own if you want to know more.
User avatar #330 to #257 - sursum (02/11/2014) [-]

Wooh boy... uh... Well, the ban lends out more money than it actually receives from deposits, so the small bank takes a loan from the Federal Bank (which is actually a private bank), then the Fed Bank literally orders for more money to be printed. So as the bank prints more money to loan to people to gain money from their debts, it causes inflation, which is bad.

No, that's just fees.
The fees don't even really cover employee wages or network upkeep.
They make money in a few ways but one of them is that they literally make money.
They can loan between $10 and $100 out for every dollar they actually have depending on the country.
Loans are the big bucks.
Credit cards are huge too.
They also invest all of the real money they have and when they lose it the government always bails them out.

How is that "stark racism"? Is it because it depicts a Jewish man? Dude if you've ever seen full blooded Israelis, that's actually what they look like. Only mixed Jews like Ashkenazim don't look like that (ie, have huge hankering noses, curly hair, dark skin, etc.)
#339 to #335 - swagbot (02/12/2014) [-]
I should have made my comment clearer: See #336, my other reply.

I am noting that Conq. is being an asshole against other races IN THE PROCESS OF trying to point out machinations of 'Evil-Doing' Israeli powers.

There is plenty of legitimate, proven, and much-harder-hitting evidence of Israeli manipulation and covert-ops on the World Stage that could be shared with people.

The moment you start lumping 1) Vague claims of an Integration Conspiracy, 2) One-Sided and simplistic views of the complex issue of 'White Guilt' (no, really), and 3) the modern equivalent of Minstrel Drawings (#334), EVERYONE will start writing you off.

Look closely: I think this guy is a JIDF reverse-troll - trying to make any criticizers of Israel look like Crazy Redneck Racists: If he's trying to expose the evils of Israel, he's doing a TERRIBLE job of it.
User avatar #340 to #339 - aoeui (02/12/2014) [-]
You might be right about his approach being a bit counterproductive. But yeah, I know him so I can guarantee you he's not JIDF or trolling. I doubt the JIDF would waste their time on this site anyway, they mostly post in the comments on Facebook or news articles.

I am aware that there is TONS of highly corrupt lobbying/military intercourse lol going on between the politicians of the Israeli and U.S. governments. Mossad was definitely involved in 9/11, and numerous major/minor false-flags for the latter half of this century...

I'm just pointing out that in your attempts to wake people up those facts, you are STRONGLY working against yourself by 1) sounding like a general asshole, and 2) lumping in other non-Jewish-directed racism in with your main argument.

And what's wrong with racism? I shouldn't have to be forced to accept people who barge their way into my ancestral homeland only to increase the crime and rape rates. And if we aren't able to do anything against it, because the UN Jews won't let us.

Hmm... so you're telling me you believe the Jews did 9/11?
#341 to #337 - swagbot (02/12/2014) [-]
"Hmm... so you're telling me you believe the Jews did 9/11?"

Wow!! For somebody posting the "JewFace" meme everywhere, you certainly seem pretty under-informed of the REAL issue! (Reverse-JIDF-Troll, I'm guessing?)

I'll post the vid if I find it, but i have heard multiple times since 9/11 (both in mainstream and alternative media) that there was a Moving Truck full of Israeli Nationals who were in multiple places around NYC on 9/11 - First, on the top of a Parking garage, waiting for the Planes to hit and then Cheering and partying when they did... then spotted multiple times throughout NYC and NJ partying and declaring to people that they knew the attacks were going to happen.

"...I shouldn't have to be forced to accept people who barge their way into my ancestral homeland."

I subscribe to the Nonaggression Principle. Along its lines, people should have the ability to fairly cordon off territory in which to live their lives, along with other people that they agree with on the Basics of Society. Communities can then get along on whatever grounds they agree to do so.

"Ancestral Homeland" BS aside... I agree - our Countries' Dictators (because they're not "leaders" or "representatives" seem to be 1) Intentionally Creating HELL in 3rd-world countries, 2) opening up immigration to an extreme degree, and 3) disarming and Politically Pressuring the 'Natives' to not speak out such that they can divide their communities along Lines of Like Agreement.

However, I'm going to point out one more VERY important thing:
> STOP CRYING that "The Politicians are FORCING us!"
No they're not.
They're telling us to do things, and WE OBEY.
Stop obeying, and you will start the pursuit of the solution in your community.

He has failed to take even minuscule prevantive measures against massive unemployment that is on the rise, while holding speeches about how Finland will suffer from labor shortage in the near future, Wat?

And in Italy... Well Berlusconi and the Italian government do not need any introductions: Spending taxpayer money on h00kers and bl0w, changing the constitution so that he cannot be incriminated, pedofilia, which are just the tip of the iceberg....

TL;DR I feel you my moosebros

But actually he's doing the whole fracking thing, plus Bill C-45. He is poisoning the water.

the cadet funding cut is effecting my cadets directly. were not getting our jackets, so the cadets can't wear their civvie jackets on bases and were in winnipeg.

all i need is a 3 room apartment in Toronto. That expensive?
#90 to #82 - menqudoneix (02/11/2014) [-]
It probably is, since Toronto is one of our few metropolitan areas, and certainly our highest population concentration by far. All things considered, if you wanted to commute from Scarborough, or better yet Markham, there are good transit systems to help get around. or you could drive, our highways aren`t TOO bad. maybe.

Renting (a place near downtown) you can get something pretty good at $1k a month (per person) or as low as $600. If you are planing to buy good luck... (try somewhere far from downtown)
User avatar #99 to #82 - nyxeos (02/11/2014) [-]
Toronto is extremely expensive. You could easily be looking at a few grand a month for a ****** apartment. I'd think you'd probably have a hard time finding a decent place for a decent price. It would be a good idea to look at the surrounding areas/commuting.
User avatar #98 to #82 - kbpilottl (02/11/2014) [-]
well a house the size of a shed costs $165,000 so my guess would be yeah, it is expensive

User avatar #175 to #164 - landartheconqueror (02/11/2014) [-]
i don't know how mexicans are, and i'm not generalizing all natives/first nations, but from my experience, they get huge government grants, spend it all on booze and a **** ton of fast food, then they complain about not getting enough money from the government. the majority of obese people i see are first nations. a lot of the people police get calls on for fighting/drunkenness/drugs are first nations, yet their population is slim compared to non first nations. they spoil their kids and let them run around and scream in stores, without giving a **** . i've met plenty of good first nations people but see so many disasters.

As a native american, I agree with you, just last year when i was in grade 11, some people in grade 12 from my school got attacked by native americans just because they were white, I don't know the full details but since the talk was everywhere it went something like this.
So about 5-6 people from my school just got out from watching a hockey game canada, eh? and they were heading to the truck they had when a group of apparently 15-20 native americans stopped them and started cussing them out. obviously people react to verbal abuse, no matter how many people there are but they tried to brush it off and just kept walking to the truck. so this got the first nations angry and they apparently attack them (i'm not entirely sure, again I wasn't there and I just heard about this through out the school) anyway as this was happen 4-5 of the guys getting to the car start defend the one guy with the keys and 1 or 2 of the native americans had pipes apparently so this one guy got his one leg ****** up a bit, then as this was happening the guy with the keys got the truck started and they jumped into the back and drove off, that's really all i heard.

You may not believe me FJ, but first nations are sometimes ******* brutal to white people and I hate it, yes sometimes everyone hates everything but I just want everyone to get along peacefully, no more discrimination.

"omg but canada es nais everijuan ther is completely friendly, tolerant, and non racist".

Most white canadians I see are usually racist towards the indigenous people first. Look at how many of them invade reservations just to rape women.

As if it's the native's fault for living in horrible conditions.

Being a Canadian / American (yes I have dual citizenship) living in Canada I'd love to believe this, but it's so easy to fabricate things like this, and it pisses me off how easily the media can manipulate people's emotions and opinions.

>Conduct 100 interviews with civilians
> take 3 of the nicest, from the country you want to be portrayed as better
> then take 3 of the most bitter from the country that you want to ridicule
> and BAM, you've successfully made a biased and fact-construing news report.
