anyone got some inking tips? this is my latest work, and looking at things i drew even a mere 6 months ago there is noticeable improvement, but a true artist never stops learning.

Tips on inking: buy a set of greys (be it ink for brush or rendering markers) from light tone to full black (let's say 10 shades )
start filling in with the lightest tone and end with black.

Make sure you "know" where the light is set in your drawing to make clear where the lighter shades are situated and where the dark shadows are.

Personally I think the lightest color (white) should be the papercolor (with no ink) Don't use white paint!

Enjoy making artwork, practice a lot, get to know the materials you work with.

What's inking mean versus just drawing?

inking is taking a pencil sketch and going over it in ink, makes it last longer, and if done correctly makes it look much better
but there are things that pencil lead can do that black ink cant, like get multiple shades and such
