Also this joke is getting old. I've seen like 3 different comics, couple of videos and the thingy where they make a "comic" with their real faces

I find it funny. It's light, sensible and doesn't offend anybody.

That is not surprising at all. His damn face gets cut even when women caress it. I don't know if I have ever met such a bleeder in all the time I watched UFC. Fun to watch, but jesus he needs an extra coating of vaseline before the fight.

I'm fine with my face permanently feeling like sandpaper if it means I don't have to risk accidentally skinning myself.

do electric shavers not work well?
User avatar #53 to #28 - europe (06/14/2014) [-]
They work perfectly fine though I don't have one of these You need to login to view this link but one of these You need to login to view this link which are apperently called electric clippers in english(?)
The nice thing about using one of those is that you can hardly ever miss a spot, and they're a ******** cheaper. 30-ish bucks and you got a perfectly functioning one and you don't need to use any shaving foam or that ****
User avatar #40 to #28 - yusay ONLINE (06/14/2014) [-]
Some do, but usually not as well. They're quicker and easier but don't usually cut as well.

In the comments section: A bunch of neckbeards who don't know how to shave properly.

(Seriously, I see tons of comments about how shaving your face burns so badly, how hard it is not to skin yourself, etc. I know people are overdramatic, but what the **** are you ******* doing wrong when you shave? None of that stuff should happen. Ever.)
User avatar #58 to #45 - turtletroll ONLINE (06/14/2014) [-]
It depends a lot on how thick your facial hair is
User avatar #60 to #58 - penileburglar (06/14/2014) [-]
Is thicker worse, or thinner? Mine's pretty thick and it's never been a problem. Just hot water and a towel before I start, I've never had any nicks or burns. (And I use a 'monthly' razor head for 3-4 months, usually.)
User avatar #61 to #60 - turtletroll ONLINE (06/14/2014) [-]
I do the same and I don't know if i'm using some ******* dreadful razors because I do get cuts and a irritated feeling on my skin afterwards for the next day.

Maybe it's something to do with your skin?
User avatar #62 to #61 - penileburglar (06/14/2014) [-]
Possibly, I suppose. My skin is awful when it comes to the sun, chemicals, and moisture. Good to know it's at least good at *something.*

It sounds weird and incredibly non-manly, but I actually use a v3nus divine, which is a ladies' razor. I'm cheap and it was on clearance when I first started shaving (I got it in blue at least, so it doesn't really look feminine), but it's actually been pretty great, so I've just stuck with it. They actually seem better designed than mens' razors--understandable, given that ladies tend to shave a lot more than us.

Other than that, I don't think I do anything differently. Hot wet towel on my face for a few minutes before I start, pull the skin taught, etc. Just normal barbasol cream, no aftershave.
#48 to #45 - randomdudelny (06/14/2014) [-]
I actually enjoy the pain. After shaving I usually spray my face with alcohol based perfumes just to feel the burn.
