So I was on the roof the other day and found this. It looks like a wasp nest to me but I know nothing of wasps nests so i don't know if it really is or not. If it is, is it too developed for me to handle it myself or should I get professional help?

Dude there's nothing to that thing, it looks pretty abandoned too. If there are wasps on it just spray the piss out of it with a wasp killer, but I'm pretty certain it's dead.

<Now THIS would be a problem.
I work construction and we took down a wall and this was inside. Mostly abandoned though, by this point.

Heres a little story my dad and his friend went to take care of a underground wasps nest in our backyard with some classified explosives that they thought were pretty weak
to shorten it most of the wasps died a few stings happened and we were left with a big hole in the back yard

If theres alot of wasps there just hire someone

If there aren't any wasps in it you can just get rid of it, but if there are wasps I would recommend trying to get some help seeing as how I doubt you either have a beekeeper's suit or can get to an indoor location quick enough to avoid wasps.

if it looks active then spray it with wasp killer, if its dead touch it and watch it crumble it feels weird and looks cool, make sure to check your loft there might be more that one might be there summer house outdoors while they're actually using 21st century technology in your loft to remortgage your house
hope this helps
