As a Canadian, I can be outside in -10 and still not need a coat for like 5 minutes (Usually when I go out with my dog). I rarely use a winter coat, usually I have a jacket for all year round. I laugh at the reaction of people in the south even though it hits +20 and I nearly die. All measurements are Celsius Because metric master race.

As a Texan, I'm able to go in -5C without a jacket, but you don't hear me going and bragging about that to everybody I meet. You Canadians think you're better, but you're just human like everybody else.

Damn Canadians, thinking they're the demi-gods of cold weather.

From Texas and not to good with conversions but here goes.

> Play a baseball game in 119 degrees F
> 3-4 months later, play baseball in the snow.

Nothing stops a Texan not even them pesky ol' environmentalists and der dagnabbin global warmen hoax

That's because it doesn't snow often enough for them to have enough plows and stuff on standby to go deal with it like we do up in the north, that's why.

it still takes them a few days to get the snow plows going up here. we usually end up driving in almost a foot of snow when most people dont have snow tires on yet

Really? and where is that? is that Canada or northern U.S.? because I'm in Rhode Island and as soon as it hits like 2-3 inches we already have plows hitting the major roads and stuff so we don't have much of a problem with that.

eh its not that big of a deal really. driving in snow isnt difficult. ive gone the past two years without proper snow tires and had no problems. the real issue is when the snow hits its always like the middle of the day when people have work and school to go to so we dont really have an opportunity to get the plow out when the roads are full

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who's really okay with winter. It's February, and I'm not even tired of the cold yet, but I can't stand it getting hot in the summer for more than a few weeks.

Tacoma washington born and raised, currently living in san fran. I just wanna say. **** the summer. The summer is nothing but sticky, dirty, smelly, sweaty, hot, ********. I HATE it how every ******* major event here is held outdoors, during ************* JULY. I would give my goddamn left testicle to be able to wake up to light snowfall everyday for the rest of my life.

I've lived in the lower midwest my whole life, and we get all four seasons at full force. Temperatures get up to 100 with a lot of humidity in July, and we see plenty of days and nights in the single digits all winter, so I feel like I have a valid opinion on being able to pick one or the other as being better.

Yeah, it was pretty bad at the beginning of the year. We got a lot of drifting snow, so it was hard to measure how much exactly, but there were 2-3 foot drifts outside my house, and the windchill got to about -30. That only lasted about a week though, and the rest of this winter has been pretty normal where I am. We've gotten snow and ice here and there, but nothing else special.

I figured as such. Some places are worse off than here from what I can tell. There's probably more going on up north, but that's more normal there too. Georgia seems to have gotten a little bit of snow lately, but down south any amount of ice is a big deal.

Yep, winter is so much better.

If it's cold you can just wrap up warmer and get on with your day.

If it's hot then you just have to deal with it, or sit under an air conditioner all day.
