I hate Jormundgand with a passion. The show had so much promise, such fun characters and it seemed like it was building up to an epic finale, but then the whole thing shat itself in the last 3-2 episodes and I can't forgive it for it. The whole "plan" was completely retarded and it pulled a bunch of **** out it's ass. All the personality of the side characters that had been established in the other episodes turned out to not matter as none of them did anything, and then show jumped 5 years ahead and pulled a bunch of ******** to justify Coco's stupid plan. The show even has her brother explain why her stupid plan wouldn't work!

Japanese business man get's wrapped up in his companies less than legal stuff without knowing it, get's kidnapped, and when he realizes that they hired mercs to kill him and his kidnappers, he joins forces with his kidnappers and basically kicks it with them in a modern day pirate town, with mercenaries, privateers, mafias, arms dealers, and representatives from basically every large country's secret service mixed in liberally.
It's a great anime, fantastically darkish and excellent fight scenes in every episode.

Rock (Japanese guy) hates his life as a salaryman and joins the crew after they take him hostage. However, Rock does enjoy his new lifestyle he is often torn by the morally bankrupt situations he finds himself in. He always tries to do the right thing, but that usually just gets his ass kicked. Girl is Revvy the muscle for the crew and love interest. She's crazy as **** .

A means to an end, and it's unfortunately the most common form of alcohol. Being a minor doesn't provide me with many options on the rare occasion I can get drunk.
My friend says it's a coincidence, and my hosts keep supplying me with **** beer. I'll still (grudgingly) drink it to get drunk, but for now I'll always see beer as "A means to an end".

ninjabadger (01/08/2016) [-] Get good beer? I guess it can be considered an acquired taste, but it's good to not settle for ****** beer. Also having it in bottles/glasses helps if you ask me. I find it to be the better social drink, since you don't get hammered real quick. It's nice to keep a buzz, and it's really not hard to do so if you have any sense of tolerance.
I don't like chugging practically rubbing alcohol either. I'm not good at taking shots, never have been. Also spirits are a good way to **** your liver up, since most kids don't control themselves and keep going when they should stop. Fruity drinks or using chasers only makes it worse to know when you should stop.

I see it kinda like soda with a much bigger price disparity. Some people will never like it, but there's a ton of variety if you look. It's bad that most people's introduction is going to parties and getting served the cheapest stuff possible. There are tastes out there for most people if you want to look, but I understand not wanting to look if your first exposure is something like natty light, the piss of all beers

And I'll take hard liquor over beer any day of the week, but like I said, beer is more common and more widely used for maintaining a buzz, and minors have to be selective about alcohol because it's so difficult to acquire without the right sources. Basically meaning, we don't get to complain or be pickers most of the time.

viscerys (01/08/2016) [-] I like beer as a social thing. Go out with some people, drink some beers and you'll find that conversation flows a lot more after a couple pints. Sometimes I'll do that same thing with whiskey. If I'm going to a party, I'll get a bottle of vodka or jaeger, but sometimes I might get a six-pack of beer. Drink is interchangable as **** , so you don't gotta worry about what you're drinking. If anyone else doesn't like it, they can go **** themselves.
