angelious ONLINE (06/28/2015) [-] so far we only know the motherbase building has microtransactions. atleast for speeding up the construction not so bad...but it reminds me of a certain pay to win mobile game that revolves around building a base konami has not stated anything official atleast the last time i looked at it. but its official already that there will be microtransactions, one of the gameplay trailers accidentally showed it.

So MGS1 - MGS2 - MGS3 - MGS4 - MGS Peace walker - MGS Ground Zeroes - MGS5
Although peace walker was a psp game and is quite a bit different from the other games in the series, mainly because it uses the same engine as the PSP monster hunter games. There is also another psp game called portable ops but most of it isn't considered canon, you can probably skip both psp games although MGS ground zeroes continues the story directly from peace walker so it might be better to play that one to catch up, although it does give you some story background in Ground Zeroes it's only text based.
There are two Nes Metal gear games but you don't really need to play them, they should be on the MGS3 part of the HD collection. I think legacy has all the games on it though.
You can play in chronological order but I'd recommend just playing them in release order

MGS3 - MGS peace walker - MGS 5 - Metal gear - Metal gear 2 - MGS 1 - MGS 2 - MGS4 - Metal Gear Rising
Metal gear rising was made by platinum games and it's separate from the other metal gear games as it's an action game rather than tactical espionage.

kwag (06/28/2015) [-] This happened to me once playing Modern Warfare 2 *Ya I know Call of Duty is **** -tier, but it's still one of my favorite online games*. I was aiming through my sniper scope out of a window on the Quarry map to this camper halfway across the map. Got his head in the crosshair, had to shift a few times to account for his moving, and when he finally stood still, I go to hit the trigger, and just before the shot goes off, this guy tries to climb in the window. His head perfectly lined up with the camper's, and abruptly an accolade popped up saying "Double Headshot". Couldn't stop laughing.
