Candy Quahog Marshmallow. Just aired the other night. Quagmire was in a Korean soap opera and they decide to go back to Korea. The above video is absolutely unedited. I was surprised as well.
Man, that was like 10 years ago.
I think they were doing a test about "manliness" and testosterone or some **** .
And how it influences your physical performance.
I remember them putting that big buff dude in front of a TV with a girly kids show, and giving him some kind of pink apron. And then he started singing along with the kids show.
And inversely, making some scrawny white kid try to break down a door much in the way that black guy's doing it.
I hate both kpop and jpop, it all sounds like factory produced garbaged marketed to teenage boys to seduce them to buy their **** . None of it has any meaning and only exists to sell sell sell, it's also super annoying with how cute the girls are trying to be.
I love JROCK because there's much more to it, and has more heart and emotion into it. Unless it's visual kei, it's just as bad as jpop if not worse for the fact that it all sounds the same, and they all try to out-victorian eachother in their styles, which is what ruined L'arc en Ciel for me That and their music started to suck and sound the same .
**** asian pop in general, that **** kills music with it's soulless garbage.
I understand extremely little Japanese but I can already tell that it has the lyrical depth of a puddle. though the chorus is pretty catchy and the performance is nice. 6/10
Military at first. Then eventually I moved there because it was cheaper than 'Murica. Eventually I moved back for more military, but I'll probably head right back there my next duty station. Endless cycle.
You're on the wrong website if you think weebs have overrun FJ. They've been here from the start.
Just like 4chan started out as an anime image board.
You either find peace with it or die trying.
Man, I just came god knows how many years ago for laughs, thats it. I watch Anime but I watch it the same way I watch Daredevil or breaking bad, I hear a good show with action and cool **** and I watch it. Now honestly it is getting plain annoying how much this site is getting swarmed in Anime stuff.
I'm just speaking my opinion on the state of this site, and its hard to when literally almost every comment section has an Anime reaction pic. No trouble ment towards any more serious fans of Anime and the like.
Because anime features exaggerated reactions which are easily made into reaction pics? Is that why you are salty...? Really? Damn son.
I used to be a ' **** anime' guy myself. I hated on it whenever I saw a fan. But that ended after my 15th birthday because I grew the **** up. Don't be that guy, srsly. Lots of it is exaggerated and stupid but if you get salty because of those things you can do like a wise black man once said:
"Hahahaha ***** Just Walk Away From The Screen Like ***** Close Your Eyes Haha"
I strongly dislike the whole Undertale fad. Am I throwing a tantrum because of it? No. I skip that **** .
Welp, I guess I'm a weeb then! Though, I also guess the fact that my family is from Russia's far east, where China, North Korea and Japan are, doesn't help ._.
Channel blocking must have done it
I used to red thumb everything anime that I'd come across
now it's all blocked so I don't get that chance, therefore more posts get higher on the front page since I'm not the only one that was doing that
i blocked those channels too because they are becoming too present everywhere.
I'm afraid the overwhelming amount of anime might scare off new users, some of my friends don't visit the site anymore i can tell from my own experience
yeah, whenever I try to get friend to browse FJ they call me a ******* weeb after 5 minutes of trying it
I learned to skip and move on over the years but it's quite a significant barrier to entry
especially since 99% of animemanga posts are basically porn (but not pron enough to be flaggable) so you can't browse in public either
keep in mind that mods and average users have the same weight when it comes to suggestions, before I was modded yeah I thought mods could push some things but yeah not really
anyway that's a horrible idea, because that would mean that if you, as an animemanga poster, were to post within the channel, then you'd get less thumbs since less people can see the content. And then you'd be incentivised to post outside the channel. then everyone gets buttmad because it won't be blocked within the container channel
**chaosraptor used "*roll 1, cah answer*"** **chaosraptor rolls Putting an entire peanut butter and jelly sandwich into the VCR.**
how much of a weeb is ronniesan
K-pop and J-pop is even more generic than western pop, somehow. Nothing wrong with that, at times, but it's all pretty much the same. Very little variety is it's all about marketing and money, rather than music.
Just from a musical perspective; you're wrong. While they do have a couple of outliers, just like everything, it's generally only a matter of the same rhythms and melodies. A basic mass produced tune, something easy to make and catchy enough, then you have the lyrics as well, that matter very little. Designed to be simple, generic, something everyone can relate to, radio friendly, easy to like.
There's nothing wrong with enjoying stuff like this. What's important is what YOU listen to. My point is that people who's really into music wouldn't listen to a lot of this. The big downside is that it is generic. And for lyrics. We can see how little lyrics matter in western pop as well. Look at Katy Perry or Gaga, for instance.
Not really. I understand that you enjoy interpreting it like that, but it doesn't imply anyone being better in any way. Some people are really into music, the same way some people are really into Japan, guns, or cars. It's pretty obvious why someone you describe as "really into music" wouldn't listen to much of J-pop, though maybe some. There are literally thousands of reasons for it. Someone who goes deep into music would not end up in the more general areas, simply put. You wouldn't say "he's really into music", when describing someone listening to K-pop 10 hours a day. You'd rather say "He's really into K-pop", or some variation. The other description would fit better for someone listening to multiple genres and/or artist, or focus a lot on the technical stuff.
It's easy to circlejerk, repeat the same views over and over and over and over, so if you like you can continue to put words in my mouth.
It's gotten stale, it's one of those that you don't care if it gets cancelled but you don't mind having it on as background noise or if nothing else is on
I never cared for K-Pop, but ever since I saw that Vine or whatever with this song and the cat, I've been hooked on it. It's so damn corny and generic but dammit it's too catchy and I've taken quite a liking to one girl in particular .
