This city was pretty much raptured after what are essentially the Gods of Chaos from Warhammer came and the city's Warriors went to battle them. Now it's eerily abandoned with little to no trace.

Eventually the Coalition of 6 and 4 claim the entire Badlands they live in, and try cultivating the arid desert they own, with help of the Merchants.
And when 5 learns of it, they join the Coalition to get back into the trading network , drastically increasing the population of the Coalition.
Due to 6's and 5`s bad positioning and 4's rather unstable society, the Coalition decides to go to war against 1 and later 3 , to claim their right to a stable food source.
With their success, 2 is too frightened to stand up to them and surrenders to the Coalition before any fighting ensues.
And now you have the Mongol Empire.

thegreatmateusbear ONLINE (01/11/2016) [-] That map essentially describes Big Island, Hawaii, half of it is a savanna, the other half is the most rainy place in the US, they are separated by two of the world's largest volcanoes. In fact, the entire island is just five large volcanoes. Really, it's an amazing place.

senseiweasel (01/11/2016) [-] Playing online sucks a lot of the fun out of it. The best way to get started is see if you can pick up a cheap copy of the Player's Handbook and run the example adventure in there with a few friends. If enough of you enjoy it, get the other players to chip in for a Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual, and hey presto, you've got your very own D&D group. Most people find it a lot easier playing with friends than strangers as well, as it's often easier to get into character if you're playing with people you're comfortable making a jerk of yourself in front of - everyone does at some point, so it's good to be able to laugh at yourselves

My friends aren't the kind of people who'd like to play tabletop games , it was hard enough to convince them to buy CS GO when it was 5 $ and they love it so much now. Still wanna try thou , strangers is better than nothing , rite ?
