Here, use this.
It's a special tool to help with that mechanically destructive modification you have going there.
User avatar #73 to #45 - lolzordz (04/06/2014) [-]
yeah its not roadworthy but its not mechanically destructive
#78 to #73 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
Yes it is....
It's HORRIBLE for basically any part of the suspension and wears tires like a ************ . And with a lowered (yes, it's a type of stance) car, if you encounter any sizable bump going at a decent speed, you can say goodbye to your front bumper.
User avatar #79 to #78 - lolzordz (04/06/2014) [-]
why do you think race cars lower their suspension
#82 to #79 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
Oh for ****** sake.
You don't see race cars doing THIS.
Period.
Race cars are not slammed to the ******* ground with cambered wheels at extreme, ridiculous angles.
User avatar #83 to #82 - lolzordz (04/06/2014) [-]
yeah that car is retarded, no one does that. lowering suspension is a real thing though and you need to just admit it
#85 to #83 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
I realize race cars lower their suspension for performance reasons, but if you lower your car for looks, you're a faggot.
#87 to #85 - lolzordz (04/06/2014) [-]
if you lower the suspension so much that its impractical then I understand, but lowering your car for looks is a thing that exists because it actually does look nice, nothing to do with being a faggot.
#93 to #87 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
I guess what I meant was, most that I've seen who lower for looks just slam them to the ground. The pic you posted, I agree, is not bad.

>mechanically destructive

i'm more confident that it is more beneficial than it is destructive.
User avatar #50 to #46 - fukkentyranitar (04/06/2014) [-]
It isn't. I've worked on stance cars before. 2/3 come in for either a new oil pan, suspension damage or a new front bumper. Unless you drive exclusively on flat and smooth sufaces, you only increase the risk of ******* your **** up. Not to mention the tire wear and ride quality become **** total **** .
#61 to #50 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
Exactly!!!

Very carefully
#47 to #46 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
Right, it's so beneficial that all those professional drivers do it.
It's not like it increases the rate wear on basically all suspension parts as well as the tires.
OH WAIT.

why are the wheels angled like that?
why are the rims protruding out past the tires?!

sometimes living with swag often means making a statement in looks or appearances this can range from clothing to well cars as well.

Not all swag trends pass but when they do they are a real eye opener.

#116 to #62 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
They have very little traction, so you can slide everywhere. Good for drifting, or if your car is low powered, you can smoke your tyres a lot.
#86 to #62 - anon (04/06/2014) [-]
Don't ask me what goes through those ******* faggots' heads when they decide to do this to their cars. All they're asking for is increased suspension and tire wear. There are literally no benefits to lowering and cambering (angleing) wheels to this extent.
User avatar #33 to #31 - kaitora (04/05/2014) [-]
Not only a filter, the whole bodykit is photoshopped on.

thats cool i suppose, but can you paint your car to look like your favorite soda?

give me the Citroen GT you damn copyrighting bastards
#151 to #150 - kaitora (04/06/2014) [-]
I'm into racing, not ricing. I had the Citroen in GT6, I sold it because it was most boring to drive and got a Zonda R. I gotta say though, it's sexy as hell.

#152 to #151 - RipperMan (04/06/2014) [-]
the only reason i even race in forza is to get new cars to play around with painting.

I at least try to be original, not slapping sponsor stickers all over the damn thing, or making anime chicks that are right on the boundary of SFW. I have a whole collection of transformers on Horizon.

why is the Cadillac XLR roadster never in any games?
#153 to #152 - kaitora (04/06/2014) [-]
Good question, but I don't really care about cadillacs.
#154 to #153 - RipperMan (04/06/2014) [-]
i normally dont either, but ever since i walked around one in person, i've really liked the sharp angles of it, a kit to change the grill would make it look pretty badass imo.

...and i need to make some of these guys

Traction? Half the fun of driving in an old car is that theres no traction control and you can slide around. Good for track times? Debatable. Fun as hell? Yes.
