But...we don't have a space program in Australia. We don't even have rockets, we just have koalas.

They used to use koalas, but wallabies have a better thrust to weight ratio.

Drop bears. They even drop into space orbit, take out our satellites.
It's a constant battle.

That's actually kind of the reason they launch rockets from near the equator, the earth's rotation gives you an initial boost

Kennedy Space Center is nowhere near the equator.

And if that were true, it's not even that.
Earth isn't a perfect sphere, it is squashed down a bit so the equator is longer than the prime meridian. Because Force due to gravity is inversely proportional to distance, there is actually slighty less gravity at the equator than at the poles, therefore making it easier for a rocket to get to escape velocity

...The Kennedy Space centre is as close as it can be to the equator without having to be outside the borders of the USA. That and it's conveniently placed near the sea/ocean.

Cape Canaveral is pretty damn close to the equator if you ask me

Dinner is Ready Its from 5 second films, where its a group of people who literally make 5 second long films and they release one per day. Its amazing because they probably have over a thousands films now. That particular one was celebrating Halloween week.

Have you ever seen anyone jump in Australia?
No?
Thats because if they jump too high they float off earth into space.
