Thumb this sticky to be on the mention list. Do not thumb the sticky if you're already on the list. Simple. Alternatively you could just subscribe to me. As always, don't forget to thumb up the content if you like it, it'll motivate me greatly to continue this series. Enjoy the comp!
If you didn't like the content you should have only thumbed down the content, not the sticky. You **** with the sticky, you're going to bear the consequences. Next time, read.
I am lenient and remove everyone from the list that ask me nicely. Except for people that deliberately thumb down the sticky (because for some reason they're pissed) and come whining afterwards that they're on the mention list. Maybe if you said sorry and ask me nicely to get you off the list, I'd do it. I really don't want to make enemies here. Let's not argue and be friends.
Saying that everyone who thumbs down your comments are "pissed" is also kind of cunty, same as mentioning someone and then saying they're "whining" when they asked to be removed.
Honestly you're acting like kind of a douchebag right now so I really don't want to be your friend. How about you just remove me off this list and we never talk again. If you don't want too because you're mad or whatever thats fine, a bit cunty but meh, I'll get over it.
While there is truth in this, it's only half the truth
If you want abs, you have to decrease bodyfat AND isolate your abdominal muscles
Some people think that you can only do one of them, saying that "deadlifts and squats is enough core work" but that is simply not true.
I suggest doing Leg raises or Woodchoppers for ab work, then just cut normally and you'll have abs eventually.
PS. strong abdominal muscles are also very useful in almost every lift, so don't be afraid to isolate them.
Now I'm not a /fit/izen but I have studied some decent amount on vitamins and run a business that specializes in vitamins and supplements.
Vitamins really serve the body for everything. Every vitamin has a different purpose and to support different functions in the body, so much so that listing a big list would be a waste of time. But for example vitamin C promotes a healthy immune system by bolstering your natural defense cells (like feeding an army). B vitamins work to (basically and in layman's terms) make you feel happier and more awake. Vitamins A promotes healthy eyes and follicles and the list continues.
However specific vitamins for losing weight is kind of the wrong thing to ask because not a single or small group of vitamins will make you lose weight (aside from some things such as CLA derived from sunflowers which helps inhibit the production of fats) faster or work out harder (again aside from something like creatine which is basically like putting high octane in your car) but your body still needs them to function.
Typically supplements are for balancing out or making up for poor diets that lack balance, like when someone is poor as **** and can't afford greens and beef and fish and other things, getting a multivitamin can help keep your body at acceptable levels with all the vitamins. Getting specific vitamins is really only for people who are deficient in some area (like someone getting fish oil pills for their Omega-3's instead of eating a salmon).
The only exception to this being that overloading on vitamins (which isn't bad, anybody who says you can OD on vitamins doesn't know what they're talking about and should promptly be ignored) can really help feeling more energized throughout the day because you have excess and your body can use it more.
The example I like to give is: Think of your body as your bank account and all the vitamins it needs as money. Sure there's a minimum amount you need to pay the bills and survive but wouldn't you want more than just the minimum? (aka when something says 100% of your daily intake, it means that's what you need to have just enough for the day) So consuming vitamins and going like 300-800% over your daily recommended intake is the same thing as putting more and more money in your bank account. You can spend it more on things you wanna do and you will still have lots left for the bills.
So to TL;DR your question, vitamins are meant to balance out your bodies needs in the case of an unbalanced diet and will help you feel better in general because your body will have everything it needs. However you can't really take a couple vitamins and expect your results to be expedited, but taking in way more vitamins than 100% can help improve daily energy levels and recovery times.
